It seems Sony took the easy route and didn't even put Multiplayer in this collection so that shouldn't be an issue.

Ouch that's quite disappointing. As you said, Sony must have just taken the easy way out to avoid the catastrophe that the other company went through. And is still going through.

I do expect this trend to happen more and more with these "collections". Just hope one of these developers can pull it off successfully especially if they also include mp.

Asking £50 for 3 single-player campaigns I can buy for a combined total of £18 is a large stretch for me, luckily I'm a blind Uncharted fanboy and will still take the plunge.

You'd imagine they wouldn't want to distract people from the U4 multiplayer beta. That and I wonder if they were concerned about splitting the fan base between the multiplayer modes of U2 and 3 too.

I'm not really fussed about multiplayer anyway. I quite enjoyed my time with U2 multiplayer 'back in the day' but I'm all about the story mode with these games.

The Master Chief Collection. Halo 1,2,3 & 4 all in 1 game. Later ODST was also added. Well over 70gb of content. Officially THE worst launching mp ever in history. Not just 1 broken game but 4 broken mp games all in one package. All 4 mp games were an absolute broken disaster at launch. Still to this day many problems. The 4 campaigns worked well, the mp not so much. Nowhere near what they promised last year 2014 at E3. In fact the May content update is also late. Its supposed to add more ranked playlists. Still not here.

So it looks like other developers have taken note and decided if they are going to do a "collection" maybe they will just stick with the campaigns only. I really hope this collection runs really smooth for everyone.

Smart move then. I wasn't a massive fan of the MP of Uncharted. It wasn't BAD but I found the campaign to be the best part of the game so good thing that is what gets ported over. Maybe we might see U3's MP ported to PS4 at some point...

No multiplayer takes away a lot value from the collection, I just hope the U4 beta will be long and not like a week, they should allow us to get really used to the U4 gameplay and then close to beta like 2 weeks or a week before Uncharted 4 releases so we'll jump in the U4 MP when we get it and know what everything works.

Okay i'll be honest, I just want to play some Uncharted MP, Naughty Dog makes some of the best multiplayer games out there in my opinion, The Last of US was simply a CoD killer for me.

Impossible to do, you could have borrowed it from a friend, they can't find out if you borrowed it or bought it.

Unless you bought it on PS Store, I guess they would know that, but that would piss off the disc owners so don't count on it.

I wonder why there is no MP. I mean in The Handsome Collection port (Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel) the MP works swimmingly on PS4.

I think this is just to hold people off until Uncharted 4, actually think development would have started after the announcement of the last delay.
