it is a drift even if you use the Ebrake. its practically essential to use it in order to drift a FF car. sometimes you dont need to if you have the proper weight transfer going into a turn but more often times than not you need to use the Ebrake.

yes...using the Ebrake will scrub off a **** load of speed but the thing is you need a powerful enough FF car to do it. the only ones that i use are spoon sports civic type R and jdm integra type R...WITH turbo upgrade. you need all that power in order to not lose speed.

so in order to drift you need to Ebrake going into the turn to kick the ass out. but while you are ebraking...you have to be on the gas at all times to keep on moving where you want to go. the Ebrake only locks the back wheels so you can be on full throttle while Ebraking. trick is to get the drift right through the whole turn with the Ebrake on. this is going to require some serious countersteer. you can drift on straight aways with FF's this way. so after you get through the turn then you can let go of the Ebrake. if you let go early...the understeer WILL get you in the worst way and shoot you straight into the wall. try it out...it works.

another proof of being able to drift FFs is in gran dorifto 2. ryan pulls of some great drifts in that JDMintegraTypeR. if that isnt enough proof for the hardheads...go buy some bacardi151. that should be enough proof.

The RUF CTR2 makes a sweet drifter because it is RR drive and all the weight is in the rear, so you can swing the back out easily. I've won a lot of races with this car, using drift setups, against more high-downforce racers like the Denso Supra/Arta NSX

your right about that pushrod, shingo in initial D did drift with the honda civic

when did he drift
i do not remember that
he used left foot braking in ff to cope with oversteer and ebrake to cope with under or maybe other way around i am retarded like that and dont care enough

ctr2 is 4wd and while the engine is in the rear that car grips like a ...... i cant get it to drift... i find that the rear engine puts hella weight on the rear tires making them grip more usually than the front and forcing the car to understeer when i exit turns cuase the rear just wont loose grip... i have used every imaginable tire... set it up how i drift most high powered vehicles just askin for some advice. yes i installed vcd... just wanna drift this car cause i love it

OOO Oh my god..He drifted in a CARTOON..it must be possible...Hey, i should go and try to shoot fireballs from my hands, and then drive my huge Mech to work..Right?

Mr pushrod..I have that video too and that is NOT Drifting..that is anything BUT drifting..if they DIDN'T use the ebrake racing through that coarse at the moderate speed they were going in those top heavy cars they would have rolled no problem, and since for some reason the ebrake seemed to only be working for 1 wheel. I am sure it was intentionally set up so that the ebrake wouldn't induce more roll

Lol...I'm watching this video..and these cars are just struggling down the straight away the minute the corner coms the RPM's take a nose dive

Stoffy's talkin about the RGT... not the CTR2....
and.. the reason that the RGT will make a good drifter is cuz of its layout...
when you let the accelerator loose... the backend of the car wil push forward more.. because theres momentum...

just try it.. take the RGT... go full out on the gas... let go n turn @ the same time.. it'll let loose like crazy

shinez i dont understand... you are probably right about that halfacedrift... the rgt would make a good drifter... that is equivalent of the 911 (996) right not the boxster.... right??? anyways i was saying before that i couldnt figure out a way to drift ctr2 cause that is what he said thats all

sorry if you cant figure out what i said. guess i will have to start proofreading. i dont care enough bout the previous post to edit it, and i am sure yall can figure it out.

omg, i think i understand only a few phrases from this:
"equivalent of the 911"
"couldn't figure out a way to drift ctr2 cause ____"

ok thanks sui....
what i meant to say.....
shinez can you more clearly state what you meant.
you are most likely correct halfacedrift. the rgt, because of its rr drivetrain and thus heavier rear makes it easy to intiate drift. i also wanted to make sure that the rgt is infact a version of the 996 911 and not the boxster... although a a porsche fan i do not like either because i feel that the 996 is not a 991 but the next venture of porsche using the boxster as its backbone.... furthermore i wanted to express that i made the comment about the ctr2 becasue i find it diffcult (impossible) to drift... adn incase shinez was reffering to my comment i wanted to say that he was the one who said he could drift in the ctr2 which interested me causei love that car... i love the 993

I understood "Shinez" and "Boxster" and "thats all"....The rest was gibberish and then some form of slavic ebonic i believe...Lol...I don't know what i'm talking about right now..i'm so wasted.

All I meant to say was...(yes I missed 1 WORD..UNO)..."How do you know he's NOT talking about the CTR2..did you talk to him on the phone?"

because you said
Stoffy's talkin about the RGT... not the CTR2....
and.. the reason that the RGT will make a good drifter is cuz of its layout...
when you let the accelerator loose... the backend of the car wil push forward more.. because theres momentum...

I was being an azz..saying that you couldn't possibly know he wasn't talking about the CTR2..You get it now? nyuck nyuck

lol screw this... if hes using a ctr2 i want him to come back on and tell me PLEASE... no biggie tho... ummm yeah lets talk about something else like a new car....

If he comes back here i'ma be all like "YO biy0tch, you're USING A CTR2 cause I SAID SO" And I'll
[]D [] []\/[] []D smack him.

anyways i agree with you an ff ass draggin i tried to drift in what i consider the best street ff the celica trd and its just not possible the laws of physics will not allow the car to drift naturally cause it will naturally understeer and come poppin up.........................

You can't drift in a FF car it isn't a DRIFT..like that one anchient chinese proverb guy said with the dictionary meaning of "Drift"...Ebraking may cause the car to go sideways, but the minute you step on the gas the car will whip back around in the direction the wheels are facing..Then you have to ebrake again..That;'s reatarded, it cannot be sustained, and it isn't a drift
