Reach level 20.

If its level based, all you need to do is the driving school and missions, as it should put you high enough to unlock it.

You don't get much XP or credits for online. You don't actually need that much for level 20 - 18,372xp in total - but it's far quicker to do it through the Driving School, Mission Challenge, and Circuit Experience components of offline. You also get decent payouts in some of the GT League events that you already have access to.

AI may be slow but I have yet to be intentionally punted by AI as is so common in Sport Mode with the current few penalty versions.

It might be just me but the AI was pretty respectful and when its not i can sent it to the next world without any regret.

To me it seems like the AI cars are filled with concrete, it is very difficult to move them offline.
