I cannot believe anyone is upset at that DLC, given that it's bringing Spa to us finally.

Spa has quite literally been the most requested track for this game and it's such an incredible and amazing circuit.

It's as important an addition as adding the Nordschleife in GT4 was.

Yeah, the DLC cars aren't that exciting, but new touring cars to race with are always welcome as far as I'm concerned. This first pack will give them motivation to do more if it sells well, which it should.

I'd also say the price point is quite alright, although if it turns out to be £11.99 in England I'll be a bit annoyed.

For me the most dissapointing feature is the interior view of he standard cars.

Complete and utter waste of time. Beyond belief that pd/Sony would allow such poor visuals in such a highly regarded franchise.

And before the fan boys come and start defending this shocking feature.... You might want to take a chill pill and start thinking rationally. Had forza been released with such shocking interior visuals 100% of you fan boys would be laughing your asses off.

The least pd shouldve done was upgrade some (if not all) of the standard cars to premium models. The game was just fine in first person view. This new view just degrades the game. In my opinion.

I'm a fan and as I fan I can express both positive and negative views

Wrong forum thread.

If anyone is upset about the DLC they really need to take a chill pill. It's good to have an opinion about it, but it's not really an issue to get upset over. This is the first set of DLC ever from PD, but it's likely not the last. Take it as a chance to provide feedback to PD on hat you think is working and what's not. I'm sure they will have some statistics on what has sold a lot and what has not.

I'd take the previous GT tracks over the one Spa track...

To me, a time change weather change course is like 10 different tracks! I don't know what's wrong with so many people here.

Anything is a bonus and this may just be the start it all.

I will be getting the packs, one thing bothering me though, would we have to buy the paints over and over again, or do we keep them, I'm sure we may not know until the 18th, just wondering is all :)

I got the track I wanted the most, so I'm happy.

But it isnt though lol...... Theyre the same tracks....

But it's a premium top of the notch quality track that is basically the state of the art when it comes to track modelling in racing games. It's worth quite a lot.

The great news here is that we all could have SPA.

And the rest, while not great, is good.

And it´s only the first batch of DLC. Of course there´s going to be a "supercar pack" and a "legacy tracks" DLC.

Couldn`t you people wait?

It has begun. And what we have is not expensive. The rest will come in time...

STOP Complaining about everything !

When do you expect that? 2, 3 years after the game?
These models arent DLC they should have been in the game. All premium cars should have had RM models, there is no excuse....
On that note, they will be getting my 11.99 because I like that R33

I dont recall moaning about the quality of the tracks.

I'm pointing out that alot of the tracks in the game are just variants.... Same track... Different weather and/or direction.

Fact

Excitement touched with sadness, if i'm honest.

The high point is definitely Spa. Have wanted that track in GT since the very first game. Words cannot express my joy knowing that in a week i'm going to be drving this beauty .

The lows....The rest of it. A space kart track?. Also, the thought of paying for Japanese RM cars, pretending to be touring cars is very disappointing (really should have been something like DTM cars).

Less said about the paint and gear the better.

It kind of seems like PD are throwing out all the crap on Spa's popularity. Leaves me a bit fearful that this is going to be the pattern of things to come. Whats next, Silverstone packaged with a cowboy themed kart track???

Don't want to be a troll but I have to agree, when I saw the headline in the news section I was like woot! what else do we get?...oh.

Still, they will have my money too (like how you kinda have the option to buy some of it but the 11.99 for the lot is so heavily reduced, 99% will go for that)

To be honest, I don't like to bite the hand that feeds, but has there been *any* indication of further DLC after this? And whilst I can see classic tracks perhaps making an appearance, i'm not so hopeful for truly "new" cars, based on this selection

Edit: However don't count out dedicated seasonals for Spa and other DLC tracks, i'm sure that would be easy for PD to implement alongside "standard" seasonals for those who don't go for the DLC.

Troll for speaking your mind lol... Dont be silly.

As for biting the hand that feeds.... Just remember that we (the customers) are the ones who are feeding them. We have every right to bite!

I think the dlc is amazing. And I'll be buying the full pack straight away.
Yes, like everyone I wish there was more but....
Spa, the stig's suit, 10 new chrome and fluorescent paints, some nice cars. A new x2010 and loads more.
What's not to like?
Great job PD. :D

Defo what this game needs. Some Hi Def German monsters!

Someone found the paint chip DLC pack to be laughable. I'm with you though, this DLC is good enough. It's not like PD didn't listen to the feedback. The future of GT is here.

Fact

Nah, you got your facts (lol) wrong.

Any given road is a completely different place during sunrise, sunset, broad daylight, or the middle of the night. Combine those with varying weather, and there's quite a few different tracks (similar, but different if you actually have to do anything on them)... If you want to be all analytically anal... Think about temperature, sunlight, wind, or visual/audio cues. They all change any race environment in countless ways.

The only person unaffected by such things would be a cartographer.

Also, all you newbs need to keep the time progression down. Put it to 1. 2 is already running the environment at 2X speed! It's ridiculous!

Nah, you got your facts (lol) wrong.

Same local, same layout, same name, SAME track.

Fact.

Monaco in the rain is Monaco. Not Monaco WET LOL

This has got to be some grade A trolling. It better be. I'm simply devoid of words to describe the stupidity of the DLC.

Where the heck are the new cars?! My god!
