Unplug Driving Force (not pro)

If I were to unplug a Driving Force's power cord, would it still function, just without the force feedback?

the wheel could still function but without vibration and it will feel very disconnected from the car. Also there are 10 views but no answer because there are may posts like this, so you could try using search

hi mate i have the driving force pro and i love it! it so realistic, with the gear shifter and the 900 degree turning cycle. (2 and a half times lock to lock).
anyway the answer to your question is yes. well, i have tried it with the driving force pro as the force feedback can be annoying sometimes! but it will still function! it will be really sensitive when turning but it does still work. maybe with your one it may work, but i know for definite it works with the driving force pro!

but yeah I agree the DFP is awesome, but not everyone is willing to pay that much for one.
