I think UT is only for PC, XBOX is just not right. (360 whatever) Same controller to me. PC controls are true UT playing.
 
i have a nice enough computer to enjoy this game, cannot wait , i have ut2k4 myself also , runs on highest possible settings without chop.

But I ask this question to this supposed UT 2007, thing. If they can produce these kinds of screen shots, why is it going to take another two years to produce a game? Something, ladies and gentlemen, is a foot.
 
I know i'm excited about it. I'm just not getting excited about the visuals because, like all the Xbox360 "screens" so far, they're just renders that have absolutely nothing to do with gameplay.

Ummm I don't actually know a single person with a pc that could do that game justice. The xbox 360 can.

...and the Xbox 360 would be a lot cheaper than a PC too. For so much less money you're getting PC graphics, which is very good for me.
 
I have to agree with Blackbird on this one, UT is best on PC. Much more advanced multiplayer.

They have their advantages and dissadvantages. I'm for PC more, because of better online play (but no one knows how good online will be on the Xbox 360, yet), having more bots running around (still Xbox 360 might sort that out) and I like using a mouse and keyboard, which lets me have more control which the Xbox 360 won't beat.

Xbox 360 is good because it's much cheaper than updating you PC all the time and your probably won't get any problems playing the games either which you'll get with the PC (my experience anyway).

Also ,I love strategy games too which, IMO, are usless on a console. You need a mouse and keyboard.

LOL, yep.

Ppl are oddly tendentious about these things, either blindly following "their brand" out of loyalty or more often, they simply cannot afford both and seek to justify having only one. Now, the money issue is certainly to be expected and respected, but as has been observed in my forum on ForzCentral, in the coming generation the price of fanboyism will be too high to justify for its own sake. You will simply miss out on far too much.

Especially now, with both Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport. I dunno about you, but as a racing games lover I cannot afford to deprive myself of either! :cool:

I have to disagree with you there. I nor anyone else is completely sure of price on the Xbox 360. The core of any good gaming computer (the CPU and video card) together, state of the art, is about $550. By the time Xbox 360 comes out, i'm sure that price will drop down to match the price of the Xbox 360. And i'd much rather have technology that's already been around for a while and is effecient than some new generation of a console that will most lilkely be extremely buggy.

And for $550 you get the most beastly CPU and video card on the market. You could sacrafice a small amount of power to save a whole lot of money.

You could invent an adaptor so that you can use a mouse with it. It's not impossible - I have one which allows me to use a PS/2 mouse with an Amiga 1200. :D

Think of the moneh. ;)

(Or just ignore this post, which is probably a good idea).
 
Couldn't you just use a USB enabled keyboard and mouse? I'm sure most FPSs should support that. I know the PS2 has USB ports, but does the Xbox?

I'd agree, there isn't a PC available that would do this justice unless you shelled out some heavy heavy cash.

I'd rather play it on X360 or PS3 (I'm assuming it'll be on both...we'll see)
 
We all talk about how there isnt pc hardware out there that can handle the next gen's gfxs but are you guys forgetting that xbox360 and PS3 still arent on the market yet? By the time they are released to us I'm sure the PC market will have equally impressive gfx cards out... possibly faster... but sooner or later PC's will catch up.

no no...I DISAGREE. Don't disagree before I can disagree. That's just not the way it works. Besides, it doesn't have reverse lights (random comment to back my disagreement with your disagreement in order to cause mass confusion...but I still disagree).
