Hi

I bought the FGT from the OCD thinking it'd be the only time it'd be for sale(now found out otherwise) and if im honest I hate it because I simply cant drive it properly yet BUT despite me buying it from the OCD I cant sell it and use the credits to purchase other cars i'd enjoy

Also did this with a car I bought from the UCD that I didnt like but now cant sell either so I was wondering if there is a list so that I can avoid making this mistake again as I dont have time to grind to make lots of money so therefore any mistake made money wise hits me harder then normal

I understand I could make money from this duping idea but frankly it scares me messing about with my save game(only car iv duped was the Stratos Rally car given to me by my brother from his bday when he sold his GT5 because of the countless bugs, and after winning an event I got another so now I have one I cant sell lol)

Unless I am mistaken; everything over 200,000 Cr can't be sold.

EDIT: I think I am mistaken. Nothing can be sold for more than 200,000 Cr.. but I think it is around the 300,000-500,000 mark in regards to purchase price.

Almost all cars listed on http://www.mygranturismo.net have the resale value listed. Best to check there and see what the resale is worth before risking a purchase.

Save your game before making any major purchase. If you don't like the car, restore your save.

I think the reason PD implemented this 'feature' was to make trading cars an integral part of the game, since you only ever get loose change even with cars you can actually sell.
 
Really? Ouch! how anyone dupes to earn money i'll never know lol

Thanks iNiff thats a guide I can use thats just as good as a list

Yeah ive just come across the back up saves idea tezster, feel like a bit of a noob for not seeing it sooner before my mistakes were made :)

No problem, basically if it will take you a while to recover the money you probably wont be able to sell it.

You can't really dupe to make money, only dupe to save money. Dupe to trade for new cars, or dupe to buy cars for "free".
