update 1.05 - Ensure you follow the AUP when posting

- Select User BGM for MENU (I believe this is new)
Nice! I was just crying about the lack of this option in another thread. Merry Christmas to me. Also the seasonal events could be sweet. Hopefully it will be like Dirt 2, where there's a different event every week. Great update overall.

Argh, just stopped playing an hour ago and didn't realize the update was already up! To make it worse my mom is watching the TV right now and I can't use the PS3 anymore for tonight! :ouch:
Oh well, gonna update it first thing tomorrow morning though. Thanks for the tip guys! 👍

Anyhow seems we have got a lot of nice stuff with V. 1.05

WOW, this does sound awesome. Gt5 is already better a few weeks after launch.

The prize money on B-spec has increased massively my usual 20k grinding race has just payed out 108k ,I'm hoping the championship winning bonus increases too :)

No save function for endurance races, which means you still can't quit the endrance race and then continue later. So disappointing! Anyway, I'll go online and ignore the Endurance series. Merry Christmas!

Ground shadows look markedly better (shadows cast by the cars onto the ground). At least from what I've seen. They're still "jaggy" in nature, but the jaggies have been blurred, it appears. So they're not really noticeably bad unless you're looking for it. Self shadowing still looks terrible, though.

I hope there's a way to glitch duplicate cars using a backup save exploit. Maybe I could have my dream of a '69 GT40 without having to grind Indianapolis a couple of thousand times, then going from practice lap to 2nd hand dealers a couple of thousand more.

I'm done with single player now, fed up to the back teeth with it but I keep going because countless hours of indescribable mindless tedium is how you get good cars.

I'd rather cheat, thanks, and I paid 40-quid so I've as much right as the next guy to make that call.

The 69 GT40 is the B-Spec prize for the Indy 500 no need to grind for the money.

So what is this Online Dealership?

Is it somewhere that PD have just put up momentarily just to sell Rare cars?
Can people sell their cars on there?

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!?

The online collector dealership is great, it features the most wanted car classes like old Japanese vehicles, touring cars and FGTs!

So... What is the point of it? We have two used car dealerships now? I really don't understand this move. And what is 'online' about it?

Those bonus race exp / prize fund figures are huge? Are they restricted by A-Spec level, or particularly difficult to merit such high points?

Can they be repeated?

If so, surely 'The Grind' just got a lot easier?
