Can you race it over and over or is it just a one off like in the other events??.

No, think its like special events. Only once when you get gold.

About the new events, I tried entering the GT-R event and it wouldn't let me. Do I have to finish the previous ones first?
Downloaded in less than a minute.
(30 mbps)
Installing now.
I had the same feeling in SSR5 and Tokyo R246 although I'm not 100% sure.
Nope because arcade mode is outside of GTlife
@Lepermessiah - I know, my posts are awesome, thanks!!

Good to know it's not hard.
Try an arcade race and see if it pays out please.
Did someone said that now we can restart a race when it's finished? So we don't have to exit and enter over and over!![]()
I have the slowest connection ever. 48 minutes left![]()
Don't know if it has been mentioned yet but now when you finish a race, there is a button to start the race again instead of having to exit the track and come back in. Now, when the race(grind) is over, just hit the start race button and go again!
This is a very big time saver for grinding credits. I was grinding at Daytona last night in Expert American Championship to get enough to buy the Formula Gran Turismo and it sucked having to exit and re-enter to start a new race.
Also I was not looking forward to the revolving used car thing to get the FGT and went on the online dealer and bam....it was there and ready for me to buy.
I am very pleased with the update from what I have seen so far.
Note: It will never be accessible across ps3 profiles/accounts.
I don't know what monkey came up with creating additional PSN gamer tags for the sake of GTplanet community, but its idiotic. You'll never be able to transfer the saves across accounts, otherwise that would lead to a much BIGGER problem. Thankfully I have a single gamertag and will have only one for many years to come.
Just did a arcade race, didnt get anything.
I've noticed, while driving a NASCAR on Grand Valley Speedway, that the car got damaged slightly easier and that there are a few architectural changes like signs, road blocks and race marshal boxes added around the track which I'm pretty sure were not in before. Also when drifting/wheel spinning in the tunnels the tyre marks look like white paint on the road when viewed from certain angles (probably the reflection of the sun).
I had the same feeling in SSR5 and Tokyo R246 although I'm not 100% sure.
Well after reading and learning new stuff about this patch, im actually starting to change my mind, and now im looking forward to getting back from work and trying it out.
Im big enough to admit that maybe i jumped the gun.

Thanks for checking that out mate.
I just did a One-make race in Practice in GT Mode. Unfortunately, you don't get anything there either.
Where are the rally events!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
