can someone please confirm that we're able to tune individual gears now for those of us with custom transmission?

Sorry if this has been mentioned (its a long thread) but when I completed an Indy grind in American Championship, it took me back to the race start screen instead of the event select screen, which allowed me to run it again much more quickly.
Thats excellent news!!!!!

Great patch, still annoyed that they have not rotated the colours for the used car dealers, sick of seeing the same coloured cars all the time. I know you can paint them any colour you like but it is not the same thing.

Also, the online collectors dealer, why is there 5 Skylines in there? Most of those I haven't seen as rare, whereas rarer cars such as the Toyota 2000GT, Renault 5 Turbo, and many others are not in there.

Don't know if it has been mentioned yet but now when you finish a race, there is a button to start the race again instead of having to exit the track and come back in.

Only about 30 times...

:)

Nope, you can't still.

Unfortunately there is No way to Tune individual gear ratios still.

GT Academy is up! Plus the clutch shifting issues seem improved on my G27!

The GTR event in seasonal is annoying, trying to tune my GTR V-Spec II '94 to be able to do it. Stuck at 13-14 seconds behind at the end at the moment. Hrrrmph.

The dodge truck race was an absolute pig as well, the first three you can do with stock or a clutch/flywheel upgrade quite easily though.

These are really good fun.

Don't know if it's mentioned (as said earlier on this page - long thread) but I tried my chromeline R8 5.2 for the first time yesterday and loved it! Today, after the update, I tried it again (Cape ring, same as before) and it felt incredibly slippery in corners... I could pretty much floor it without wheelspin as beforebut today after the update it felt like driving on ice, it skidded like hell... And I haven't changed any settings... Tires Sport hard, the only ones it got...

Am I just imagining it? Today was online if it makes a difference...

Maybe they changed the traction to simulate real life more?

I know there is an option for that when setting up an online race.

Experienced the same stuff with the chromeline R8, but that was before the update and also online. Probably has to do with online settings.

I just moved and the Comcast guy won't be here until the 23rd. :nervous:

Going round Monza and it seems like the shadows are a little better, not amazing but better.

I think you are just seeing what you want to see. :sly:

I might be wrong, but headlights seem to be better and there seem to be a new sound when you crash into other cars.

I just noticed that the payout for the American Championship race at Indy is significantly higher at 117k, also the opponents are definitely faster.

It's whoever the host is and the online settings.

They were terrible before in the cockpit, now not so much, have a drive around Monza and let me know what you think.

Enormous, well thought out update. Thank you PD 👍. Amazing less then a month after launch they have improve the game so much.

Thank you for making online mileage count on the cars 👍 Now they feel more like your own

On a side note I wish they would seperate A-Spec and B-Spec mileage. I currently have around 28,000 miles driven but most of that is B-Spec.

I would like to brag about my A-Spec mileage but its impossible when B-spec is mixed in there

Trying to download this update with a wireless connection was a huge mistake. I took my PS3 upstairs and hooked it up to a wired connection and what would have taken 30+ mins took roughly 10 - 12 mins.

I was just looking through the online dealership and all I could do is laugh... Way at the bottom in the lower right hand corner lies a Formula Gran Turismo for 4,868,500 cr.

There is no reward for completing the Bonus Races, I was kinda hoping you would get something.

in the Cockpit of my Castrol Tom's Supra.... I do notice that the Jaggies of the shadows look rounded, but My eyes could be playing tricks on me, they still suck regardless.

What kind of wireless network do you have (N, G, etc.)? I have wireless N, with my PS3 downstairs and the router upstairs, and the download took just over 10 min....

Now try being old and wise enough to realise the rose-tinted spectacles remark is just your way of expressing denial towards the fact that some people genuinely enjoy the game.

Pro poast all the way, i'm trying to avoide grumpy pa his posts for now, but he seems to have a problem with the bright light at the horizon...
He seems to see it through a very dark tinted glasses.
Because we all say it is the BEGINNING of something, the START...

Sarcastic pessimist he is...

The first thread really filled with enjoyment from around the world is bound to have the fanboy sticker slapped on it...
It is bound to have trolls visiting it and call all the others out to smirk in their little fist.
it is bound to lure in people who love to quote other people line for line, and try to lay down their own opinion as a fact...
These games, so unique, are bound to have such people...

Not The special events ones the new ones that were given to us after the patch

They mean those with the patch, the patch does not say they're extra now does it?

Oh, that's quite an odd setting.. it didn't feel very realistic to have no sideways grip at all...

Will it become premanent if I move up in levels? (lv 20 atm)
Edit: that's off topic, ill look it up myself...
