update 1.05 - Ensure you follow the AUP when posting

Confirmed so far:

- Online Collector's Dealership added to GT Life My Home
- Seasonal Events added to GT Life My Home
- Game Data can now be saved to USB and also copied to another account on same PS3 <- GTP tag dilemma SOLVED
- HUD can now be completely removed in a race and practice (Display All/Hide instruments/Off) <- available for adjustment from pause menu
- Mechanical Damage now available in Arcade Mode (Light/Heavy)
- Select User BGM for MENU (I believe this is new)
- Mercedes 190 E Evo / Mercedes CLK GTR prize cars for AMG driving school

DO NOT DO THIS !!! I just copied my save data from my main account onto my friends account on the same ps and it copied but when you load the game it says you can not use someone elses saved file a new one will be created for you and you lose EVERYTHING !!

I just have a quick run on "American Championship - Indy". The credit is increased from 98000 to 117000 now. The XP is still the same...

I'm just glad we're getting what sounds like a decent update.

Has anyone else noticed you can now repeat race events without having to exit out and then go back in. Soon as you've finished you can hit restart to do it straight away again.

Does this mean if I want to change something on the setup after I started a race, I can exit, restart, change settings, and then start race? I hate having to exit the whole race, go to the racing menu, re-enter a race, change settings, and then start race a bunch of times because my car handles like hot garbage.

So, PD is officially sticking a "grinding" button to all events! 👎
 
Your garage has been tweaked. It now stays on whatever you left sort by on eg, max power, country etc. instead of date acquired. If you exit out of gt life though it defaults to make, until you change it again.

Yep.. not sure if it goes for championships though... doubt it. Will test in a minute.. make that 5 minutes.
 
Sounds like there must have been some licensing/Trademark issue's with calling the Red Bull car the X1.

Overall sounds like a great update. Looking forward to downloading this when I get home.

I firmly believe that this game is only going to get better and better as PD seem keen to build upon its excellent base with updates and I would imagine some future payable DLC.
 
Online is up. GT Academy is on!

EDIT: None say it's GT Academy but there are three events.

Can't you just copy it to your main account again then?
 
Anyone tried the Murchialago race in grand tour does it still handle like a turd and do the headlights actually illuminate the road ahead ?
 
Servers back up! In seasonal events there are 3 A-spec "bonus races" a race, time trial and drift, just entered the drift and, :drool: rankings! Enjoy and merry christmas.

The Online Dealership is open and offers a range of rare and unusual cars. The cars offered may prove useful in Seasonal and A-spec and B-Spec Events, so be sure to check the line-up regularly.

I notice that the Online Dealership only contain 12 different vehicles at a time. Right now, I have the Forumula Gran Turismo listed at 4.9M.

I dont think that was ever in doubt. Just look at they way they expand GT5P. Personally I think that in 6 months time GT5 will be an awesome online racer. We have the cars, most of the tracks, and just now we are starting to get the code.
 
The online dealership looks good, it's full of rare used cars. Once I get to 10million you can bet I'll be spending some here. It even has a green FGT in it.
 
The online collector dealership is great, it features the most wanted car classes like old Japanese vehicles, touring cars and FGTs!
 
Nice update. Looks like you get 5 paint items as a log in bonus too now. I just got 5 cards and 5 paints.

Edit: Seasonal events accessed: A-Spec - Bonus race 1, TT No 1 and drift trial No 1. Going to try them now to see what rewards are available. Bonus race 1 has 5 events with a different car specified for each one. Nice.

Brakes on! It sounds like it just restarts the replay completely, not an actual rewind. Only marginally more useful. Kaz actually said this was coming but rewind/fast forward was not ready for this patch on twitter. :)
