Is it just me being cynical thinking that their TWO time trial leaderboards and TWO drift leaderboards are merely a stopgap to avoid a lawsuit? Leaderboards are written on the box after all, but now they can point and say "Look! We do have them!"

Not exactly. It can't be the most difficult thing to do, to sling some boards up, wouldn't require an immense amount of coding. Probably more to do with balancing it correctly and avoiding cheating etc.

The prize rise is going to stay. It's update based not online based. I just completed the DTM nurburgring and got 99.000 coins. Around 12% increase and I was not online, the server was down. To lower them back they have to put it in the next patch and that's not gonna happen. Just a holidays marketing trick. And its great. If this was for Christmas I wonder what PD got planned for New Year.

I'm actually very pleased with this update. I loved Seasonal Events - they're challenging and fun. Especially with the restrictions of tyres, BHP, and weight, it have made races a lot more fun.

They have a deadline of 6th January (I think), so does that mean when it passes its deadline, a whole new events will be released? If so, that's great!!!! 👍
