Does multiple monitors require more GT5 copies in addition to PS3s?
 
Magnificant update. Won't shut up the whiners though. Going to be interesting to see what they conjure up this time!
 
There is no in-game save function for endurance races, even I entered the pits.
 
Annoyingly in 2p split screen, your favourites still state their standard bhp figure and not the actual tuned bhp. Was hoping the performance points system would appear here, but sadly not.

They always find something, but i must say that I would like to see the saving on Enduros.
 
I won't be racing any endurance races until I can save in the pits mid-race...
 
Menus are definitely faster. Especially in the Tuning Shop.

Less Credit for races/championships in B-spec than before!

Nooo I returned my extra copy once I found out it didn't support them initially (Have 2 PS3s). :(
 
Anyone else wish they would remove the final confirmation when purchasing/installing parts?
 
I'm not sure if this is just me but the fully customizable transmissions sound less high pitched and annoying as hell when at high gear/high rpm. I think this is a huge plus because it forced me to drive with the third person view on most of my cars. Also, do these fully customizable gears mean the lesser transmission upgrades can be tweaked also? If so that would defeat the perpose of a fully customizable transmission haha. This update definetely rocks!!!
 
I see several posts about different tires on front and rear. This is not new beeen there since day 1. I have on more than one occasion changed only the front tires and forgot about the rear ones until the race started.

Try racing with a 956 HP Zonda R with Race Soft on the front and Comfort Soft on the rear :)

Thats 2 of us, just because the time I've available to play means PS3 connected for several days(24H Races not the others), and that won't happen.
 
Shadow is smoother, smoke effect too 👍

A bug where many effects (High beam flash, brake lights, exhaust flames etc) didn't work in my user created Tuscan track has been fixed 👍
 
Top Gear test track is still a rolling start. Darn. Great update though.
 
Press triangle to zoom on replays like on Prologue.
 
Can I point out replays are now in 2 player split screen mode and you can save them.
 
alright WTF!!!! OMFG!!! my 24hrs lemans b-spec race was reset. its was supposed to be finished 5 minutes ago i switched over and GT5 was loading. It was at the screens before the intro movie but after 'WARNING'... My X1 is in perfect condition. Oil 100%, no need for engine rebuild or chassis maintenace. Didnt gold the race andmy bobs dont have the win intheir stats.
I suggest that anybody with a running B-spec race, that they go and check it. All i had was the keyboard with the enter button permanently pressed at "slow pace" so my bobs wouldnt kill the **** out of that X1. Last time i checked was about 10:30 EST, 2.5 hours ago race was running fine, no problems 150+ lap lead guaranteed win guaranteed TOYOTA GT-ONE, zero miles but that doesnt matter to me. Now... im gutted.

GT5/PS3 reset and updated on it's own. I now have the check marks in the UCD of the cars i already own. :(

In case anybody cares... its V1.06.06XXXXXX. so anybody that speculated 1.06 was right. congratulations. i won 24 more hours without racing.

Can we race modify more than 17 cars yet?

Holden Commodore - 324hp 1658kg - 444 PP (bone stock)
Holden Monaro CV8 - 325hp - 1658kg - 441 PP (bone stock) (wtf about it and the Commodore?)
M3 - 337hp 1570kg - 451PP (almost the same as the holdens, but lighter and more powerful)


I just don't know, but it looks like this isn't looking very good...

Same with photomode and photo album. Also I just oticed square (IIRC) chaged the thumbnail size and type in the photo album, not sure if that is new though.

You can get around that by going to My Lounge and set it to a 1 lap race.

Shadows, dust, smoke, all like they should have been upon first release. Confirmed. Watching B spec is actually pretty fun with all of the changes to this and the AI.
