Will defiantly download this for the Aston Martin. Might make me play this game again for a while

It took under an hour (around 50 minutes) for me to download and install everything, including the hot fix, and it was all done with an under 50% strong WiFi connection.

@FrzGT there was a maintenance notice but it kinda got missed.

It was listed on the GT website earlier but now it's gone.

This update is 2GB in size and only has "2 cars" but the last update had cars and a track and was less than a GB. Has to be something else hidden in here.

With the Aston VGT, I reached 222MPH on Route 7.
With the Nissan VGT, I redlined at 217MPH on Route 7.

Both attempts with 0 aids, all stock.

Has to be something else hidden in here.

Not only the VGT cars, but the videos that go with them.

Minor set back, you can't number the SLS AMG GT3 car or the Audi R8 Ultra, have not checked the Nissan but it already has a base model.

What I've found, even though they're not exactly "discoveries:"
  • Aston Martin DP-100 and video
  • Nissan 2020 and video
  • Paintable brake cals
  • Custom number plates
  • ?????
I put the "?????"s because the size of this update has to have more, so with that point, let's see what we can find, and post in the 1.10 undocumented changes thread.

Would somebody please check the Shelby Daytona Coupe!?!?

Already did and the answer is no.

Both VGTs sound extremely generic. Was hoping for 97T style improvements at least.

Is this me or are the numbers follow the same placement? 2 on side and one in front angled.

The 2020 is not "generic." I've never heard a sound like that before.

You're not seeing things. That's exactly how they are patterned.

If there's anything hidden it'll probably be activated later like the brake caliper paint. You could paint brake calipers through modding in update 1.09.

"Players will really have the freedom to customize their cars to make them look however they want them to." YouTube

And with this latest patch, that tops the cherry on the cake for that; the GT40 with a number is just...ack...SO GREAT.

Great move, PD~ Now we're getting closer to the really good bits now. Those videos really can't be a gigabyte a pop, can they?

I think it's safe to assume that the number feature is unavailable on pretty much all the race cars.

So all the premium cars can be fitted in with numbers now?

If so that's a great improvement, hopefully next up they'll let us add different type of stripes, so we can have a ""semi"" livery thing in game

That's why VGT cars come with videos take around 500 or more MB depend on update.

The Lexus touring car concept that looks like a DTM car has it

just a thought, but what if its the paint for the calipers that's taking up the space? Think about it, every obtainable paint can be used on the calipers, so what if its just paint data, and nothing else?

Now, Race number aside, anyone seeing the new VGT cars Gallery mode? Very interesting to see one as i install this update.

Well that's that for a great update. The first time that my PS3 has hung in GT6.

Update loaded.
Loaded hotfix.

Brake calipers painted on the Ferrari 458, then wanted to change the rims and nothing works anymore.
