Seems like the driver number can only be on premiums and not standards. I call ********.

Yeh that is a good point but I'm still hoping there's more to it than that. I've yet to watch the VGT vids but I'm assuming they're both about a minute long or thereabouts. That equates to about 400-500MB of data in some peoples' estimates which leaves >1.5GB of reasons to be hopeful of more goodies.
It's also a possibilty that PD are sneaking in some of the other features I guess that have been spoken about like the Track Creator. We'll see though.

Both vids = 4mins and 50secs or so. About 5mins HD video does not equal 1gb of data.

So someone please confirm or deny that there is more stuff in there to be revealed.

Since it was never available on standard cars before this update I don't see why it's an issue now.
 
Can't add number to the SLS GT3... gahh, so irritating
 
Can someone please post a picture of the modernNissan GTR And the Veyron with the number plates?

Most likely? An exif data for the race numbers on all premium cars.
 
Unless PD likes to add things in-game without notifying ppl about it, so far after all the update and installations, once logged onto main page, 3 pop ups occur. One for calipers ability, 1 for aston, 1 for nissan. So, other than the hotfix, I do not see anything new that has not been already stated

P.s. my ps3 froze when I tried to change wheels for my ha chi roku. Never done that before. Hopefully not related to new update.

5 minutes of full hd 1080p video can be about 0,5 GB or more

So less than 1gb like I said. That still leaves another gb - 2 cars do not take up that much data, maybe about 300mb.
 
Just finished the Aston Martin time trial (got a silver). Damn that car is grippy.

I haven't tried to see if the crash affects my game yet but I'll post if it did if it did crash.
 
Update to the update. Looks like 2 updates, total time to download and install all updates, 51 minutes.

This is twice my ps3 froze while trying to switch rims for my hachi roku. Yup, must be a bug. I'd wait to switch rims guys. Unless you don't mind rebooting. Who knows? Some of you might have no issue switching rims.
 
How do some of you download and install within an hour? I'm at 40% install after an hour and a half and my internet is amazing. Maybe I need to upgrade to SSD HD.

Am I the only one who doesn't care about putting numbers on cars?
 
It's not a perfect update but it adds a feature a lot of people have been crying out for for a long time, the ability to put number stickers on a wider variety of cars.
 
The engine brake thing is a godsend, I may be able to drive the cars it was on properly now as it really affected my driving style.
 
Anyone else tried to change rims after update? Please tell me I am not the only one getting the freeze. ( ik. Ik.... deep in my heart, I wish no one's ps3 freezes but..)

It's happening to quite a few people, and has caused data to be corrupted for some. I'd recommend avoiding rim changes altogether until a hotfix arrives or something.
