Is anyone else having problems with the new update as I can no longer use any of the online functions without the game crashing?

Haven't tried online since the update, but I will check tonight.

However, since the boards aren't full of this, you can assume it's not widespread.

If you haven't already, make that save backup. Not having any issues myself, hate to see you lose all your progress/cars/paints.

Can I use a memory stick to save it?? how many gigs should it be to fit the GT5 data?
And If a get the " Playstation Plus" pass, Can I save it on online storage?

1 gig will cover it.

I recently bought PS+ and it works well... except today it wouldn't manually save on line, it timed out at 30% saved, around 1500 file size in total, so not big!

It saved yesterday, manually and overnight, so I'm hoping it'll save overnight tonight. Meanwhile I've saved it to a memory stick with no issues. Too much of my time is now invested to risk dumping the lot!

Its safer to always make a copy of the save after finish playing.

The last 2 updates have many bugs (the 2.04 and 2.05)...

I have 2 ps3 and the old one (the fat 60gb) has been very unstabble since these 2 updates...

I have almost 800 cars and a ton of pictures and items and my save is only 4.5 mb. Your actual game save data is tiny.

Yeah the save game is probably just XML data; very, very small.

I think ill wait till the new update comes out hopefully they will sort it out then, cant be long must be some new DLC coming out in a few weeks.

Back up your save data now because once it's gone, it's gone forever. My GT5 save is less than 2MB and I have about 550 cars.

For the first time since the game came out, I have seen the black screen of death. I am locked up after completing the Autum Ring 400 PP seasonal.

This night is a sad night... I turned my PS3 on saved my backup. (I think I did it right) Then, I started up GT5 and boom PS3 stopped and shut off. Now it does start up at all. Turns Green then a quick yellow then back to red. That consider the yellow light of death????? This really SUCKS. Anyway of fixing it?? Worth Fixing?? or Do I give up and save up for a new one. 👎 man this sucks

Update on PS+

After it not wanting to save online yesterday tea time I tried again at 10.30pm GMT and it saved online normally so maybe a server error caused it not to work earlier.

Still I save to a USB stick every few days as well. Just to be sure.
