Update will not download, tried 30 times.

Hi guys.

I'm new here. I've been trying to download the new update for Prologue and it gets halfway and I get an error message, I'm honestly tried this around 30 times and it just will not download, tried it on a wireless and wired connection and still no luck, I've got 2 meg broadband but I've never had any problems download anything in the past.

Is there a way I can download and install this update manually?

The best way to download it is to use a wired connection and if it fails click on the news button and it will carry one from were it failed.
 
I had problems with updating from original version of GT5P to spec3

I tried it about 2-3 day and finally got it.

The line showing progress of downloading is as good as useless
at telling how far the download+installation of the pack is.

On my case the line was at 50%-65% and boom it was done.
Just like when saving in GT4: starts slow halfway done.. boom , finished.
 
Tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it and everything and tried wired connection after that and still getting an error. God this is annoying can't even play the game.

Quick question: Is it the Disk it installs the update on, so could I go to a mates house with my copy of GT 5 Prologue and update it, would it still work on my console?

No it installs on your PS3, you just have to keep trying.
