If you're lazy and forgetful like me, you often forget your pit strategies when you haven't used a particular car in a while. I've been looking for a way to give back to the community so here we are! Below you will find the fuel usage percentages for various cars on three of the major grind events. Now you can reference this as a baseline to make better pit decisions. I will be starting with race cars and may move on to road cars if I get bored enough. Sorry, no Tokyo and no requests.

All cars are tuned with Praiano's post 1.31 tunes. ABS normal, all other aids off. Dry laps, using all available RPM's. These numbers should be a worse case scenario but may change dependent on your driving style. Wet laps should use less fuel.

World Touring Car 800 @ Sardegna Road Track A

Audi R8 LMS Evo '19 Gr.3 758.06pp
Tune Here
(Note: PP has been maxed (output adjustment @100%) and RM tires, deviating from tune above)

Amount of fuel used in % per 1 lap.
FM 1 28%
FM 2 24%
FM 3 22%
FM 4 20%
FM 5 18%
FM 6 16%

Doing a 2 stop strategy using FM 4 I managed to complete the race in under 26 minutes. Average lap times, without traffic, was in the low 1:38's. My fastest lap was a 1:37.116, optimal lap 1:37.093. I'm sure these times will come down, in more capable hands, or as I get more time with this car as I've only spent about an hour with it. Enjoy!

Audi RS5 Turbo DTM '19 Gr.2 800pp Tune Here
(Note: DRS seems to have a decent effect on fuel efficiency. The numbers below reflect no DRS use at all. Subtract approximately 1% from the percentages below for using DRS on the straights. FM 1 is the exception with less than a percent of a difference with or without DRS.)

Amount of fuel used in % per 1 lap.
FM 1 17%
FM 2 15%
FM 3 14%
FM 4 13%
FM 5 12%
FM 6 11%

This car is capable of 1:34.xxx on FM 1 and I am no alien. Very fast car on this track.

Can now run a no-pit stop again with the Toyota GR010 2019 on FM6 around the same timeframe aprox 26 minutes for even more lazy Sunday driving

I posted this in the Custom Race thread.
Here’s a caveat regarding buying cars equipped with RM. For the RS5, it does all the WTC800(I’m about to try WTC700 events) races easily, with the stock RMs. Just detuned to 92% power, nets a PP 798. Excellent Fuel economy. Rear tyres wear more heavily than the fronts.
I’d recommend refrain from purchasing RH. This way, if players to choose to use the other Gr.2 cars, they’ll all be using the default RM.
Just to inform players how purchasing an RH tyre set for default RM shod cars, negates the RM when doing custom races. If players fit RH to aid in lowering the PP for certain races, when they set up a Custom Race, that car, when assigned to the AI, won’t use the original default RM to be competitive.
Only way to remedy it, is to purchase a new car.

Coming soon!

1st try with the Audi RS5 - 24:42 - entire race on FM1 - one pit after lap 8. Minimal tuning. Basically detuned to 800pp, maxed out rear downforce, and adjusted ARB to 6/8 and LSD to 8/12/8

Can now run a no-pit stop again with the Toyota GR010 2019 on FM6 around the same timeframe aprox 26 minutes for even more lazy Sunday driving
I confirm, I just did this "Sunday cup" with the GR010 ;)
Best lap at 1:44 but mostly around 1:46 to save fuel.
Just have to be patient when you overtake AI cars and you'll win very easily with 1:25mn ahead

Updated. Escudo coming soon. There is a glitch with its pp but I've figured out a way to be under 700pp with the ability to use RH and IM tires. I will post the numbers today or tomorrow.

Can the DTM do the Sardegna race on 1 set of RM?
Yes. Right rear wears the most. Depending how fast you want to complete the race and whether you leave the car with stock turbo(even rear tyre wear) or choose Med(right rear wear) or High(right rear wear). Regardless of traffic, times will be consistent through the whole race: 1:35s-1:36s. Pushing flat out, will see consistent low 1:34s, when free of traffic.
If that right rear wears completely(most likely on the last Lap), look for a 1.5 loss In time. Other than that, solid ride. Easy to use.

One lazy ( laziest for me ) way for la Sarthe 700 pp without nothing to worry is the 962 .
Can do 7 laps without piting....
One pit is enough at any heavy rain outcome......
Always end the race before 30 minutes with any weather......
Its smooth as a butter......
So easy that gives you time to practice and extend your meteorological knowledge observing the weather radar....

If sounds interesting i can share me settings.
The Escudo is way faster but need 2 pits ,plus is so fast that under heavy rain lapping under yellow flags at the AI " party " might cost you CRB especially when you're at high speed since the AI loose it and at the middle of a straight.

For Sardegna, the Escudo blitzes the RS 5 race time by about 40s, and all the Gr.2 cars detuned to <800PP can easily win on a one-stop on FM1 when short-shifting.
For reference, I short-shift pretty much anything I drive at Sardegna to extend fuel range, even if not using FM1.

There's no secrets, Porsche is over the top at Le Mans.
Thanks for sharing your tips, @smoothbore12 :)
Here is what i use

And a proof of 7 non stop race with 0.3 fuel remaining.

The tune don't remember where comes from but works fine for me.
Nothing " harsh " about this car and the sound is like a sweet melody in my ears.

A detuned 787b with racing hard tires and a little luck with the weather you can do the full Le Mans 700pp race with no pitstops. That is my lazy go to for the credit grind. Even if it rains and I have to pit the detuned 787b still overpowers everything while sipping gas like it's a hot cup of tea. On FM6 it uses about 10% of the tank on each lap,

With the 962 at WTC 800 Daytona (controller safe tune) I almost felt bad it was so easy. A bit like using my 9v fly swater.

Settings: Intermediate. (Should befine on hard), TC 1, ABS weak, auto trans and, using controller. (Bad back day or I would use my wheel )

●Tune: (stock unless noted)

Tires: RH

Downforce: F - 801
R - 1404

ECU: 87%

Ballast: 65 kg @ -12 (Weight of an average man with fire suit and helmet at about where they would sit)*

Run the fuel map at 5 and you should have no need to pit.

Great but ........ way far from a lazy way griding at Tokyo .

It's not about the faster way to grind ,but the easiest and " laziest " .
That’s why I recommend the RS5 at Sardegna. 800,000Cr. Just detune to 92%. Stock RM. No need to buy extra tyres for wet weather. Always CRB. Short lap. Make your Credits back in Two races. 25 minutes per race maximum(that’s short shifting to eke out to lap 11 for one pit stop - normally, it’s a Lap 8 pit stop).

Other than the Super GT ‘08 & ‘16 cars for Sardegna, I can’t think of a less expensive(under one million) & easier race car, that‘s no muss no fuss to use for both Sardegna and la Sarthe.

I use the Mazda 787B for the Spa 1hr.

With FM6, you can do the entire race with no refueling.
Providing you do some lift and coasting and short shifting.

The 787B can go to around 12laps on mediums, maybe 16 on hards(not tried it).
But since Gr.1 cars have a huge amount of downforce, you can take raidillon pretty much without lifting, or a very tiny lift when dry, when wet a lift is required.
You can take Pouhon 1 at about 175km/h and then power out Pouhon 2 exiting at about 230km/h

Providing no rain, a single stop is possible.

I used @praiano63 tune Sardenia tune as a base for Spa, then just tweaked the speed to 300km/h, added about 800 to front downforce which is needed tor Raidillon to go flat out.

I can do 2:11.500~2:12;500 when I push with FM1, FM6+short shift+coast will do around a 2:15.xxx.
Sub 2:11.000 can be done by exploiting the track limits as much as possible, with the potential of 2:10.5xx or lower, assuming the AI dont get in the bloody way

You have a point on your suggestions of course.
GT 500 was my favourite cars for lemans, test them all but since 1.31 the use of intermediate tyres from the beginning is " forbidden " , i quit somehow.
I really hate Tokyo , never like it and i never will.
Also am not participating at the " faster " griding race, look mom i did below 23 minutes, can you beat my time and etc.
And i don't think that players are kind of " stupid " cause they don't choose the faster way per minute or the faster car .

Griding is became the main core of gt7 the way its build especially for new players ( and not only) .
Its not bad , right or wrong, its just the reality at least till now .

Anyone can do what pleases him , i see people without personal life ( can't drive 400- 500 miles a day and have a regular life,am i wrong? ) addicted to the " faster" witch is fine with me but its not something that " must" apply to everyone.

To have fun and not become frustrated while you " play " is the main aspect for me , helping - meeting others , sharing , witch are on the same wave with you is the second one .

Everyone can find a " place " but must take care a bit or wonder if is in right place to share his accomplishments, thoughts etc.

Since that " place " is about " lazy " or player " friendly " and didn't even include Tokyo , what's the reason for someone to post his achievements on that as our friend above ?

I open a thread about non stop cars for lemans and had various posts with Faster times and cars but guys didn't even bother to share their tunes or any information and they didn't even write if was at non stop race !!!!!

Of course what i write isn't for you mate , i just grab the chance to share my thoughts about the obvious .

Dodge Viper Gr.3

Transmission is first gen Dodge Viper made by Tremec. A T-56 part #TUET1806 3.90 final drive is a real Mopar option.

It's still a race so you should not get that tired of it. However, this has won both trys including getting stuck in the rain dance mid track and still getting the W.

Using Fuel Map 3 for power and 2 stops or Map 4 for one stop if it rains earlier. One set of hards will last if you take care of them. In that case you can gas and go.

Or even a 2013 Dodge Viper build to 7:01 Nurburgring spec will do it. You stop more for fuel but oh well. (Fuel Map at 3) RH tires seem to wear about the same if not better.
