Every comment I've read from people who done this upgrade say it's a "night & day" difference...I disagree...

Pedals are smoother and FF is stronger, that's about it...
You can feel a bit more details over the g923 but not a huge difference.. quiet operation...

Maybe because I've been using these G wheels since the early 2000's I've gotten so used to them, and the PRO is my first DD wheel..
But what am I missing here guys?
Is the g923 that good, or is the Pro lacking something...

Hi there.

A couple of questions on in-game settings - what do you have the following set to?

P1 Vibration: on or off?
Vibration: 0 - 150 - where is it set?

Force Feedback Max Torque: 1 - 10 where is it set?
Force Feedback Sensitivity: 1 - 10 where is it set?

Hi, appreciate the reply, vibration 100, Torque at 4, and Feedback at 10...
The rest of the settings I used were from here...

And P1 vibration is On?

Have you tried multiple car types? Torque at 4 is a good figure for Gr.x in order to mitigate oscillation from GT's wheel centering model, but for road cars you can definitely go much higher. I will always recommend FFB Sensitivity to be set at 1 - it helps mitigate oscillations further and feels more natural than 10. Digit completely disagrees with me on that one though, which is fine - FFB is a very personal thing 😊

I wouldn't use GT7 as a reference to test gear or belt driven agaisnt direct drive wheelbases ._.
Too many updates that had massive impact on the feedback, some to the point where everything felt like driving on ice.

If you can try other sims/games on console or (better) pc. Rfactor2 & Le Man Ultimate have the "best" force feedback according to different forums and reddit
