upgrades...

I'd like to be able to turn off the ability for both myself and AI to add upgrades to cars...

in other words, run the cars as they are bought, cept maybe for tires

ok im geusing u dont like a chalange well tell me what would be the point of the game if u didnt do up the cars theres no fun in that is there nowracing 1000hp skylines,supras etc are fun its challeging and fast, Me and mates come play this game to do cars up and race and drag each other this is what the gt lover crave for apart from U the freedom to do what ever!!!!!!!!!

i spose if u want to play a game were u only run stock cars go and play driver 1 on ps1 that seems to be your level of corodination

It's not a challenge when high powered cars crash into the guardrails because the computer AI is too stupid.

That's a good idea, to race only cars that are stock, it's definitely more of a challenge. But, isn't that just Arcade mode?

All peeps who want standard cars go play driver we want performance and eh if the AI crash dont complain cos not all are perfect they are just trying to simulate the game by them crashing

The AI in GT3, or all of the GT games for that matter, have a problem with the high powered cars slamming into the walls because the AI is not programmed well. I hope, in real life, race drivers do not slam into a guardrail at 120 MPH.

if you had ever played the game you would prolly say "the hardest part of the game is the beginning where you are running a stock or near stock car cause you dont yet have the money to buy a stage 4 turbo for ur friggin PT cruiser"

challenge IS NOT haveing a 1000hp skyline and wall riding cause you've become a "point and shoot" driver because of the insane hp advantage you have over the AI and all your skillz have turned to mush because you rely on the cars acceleration.

are you really going to tell me that running a stock car against the AI is more challenging?

no sir, to me a challenge is to run a car that is close in power weight and handling to what the AI have... some times I dont win, but I alway have a challenge. (see this thread to know what the word challenge means https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/t-24644.html )

lol ok so u like to to play in begginer mode its ok we all dont mind but for us playing in say a 1081 supra with no traction controll or active stability manager no matter how much hp your car has with out those it is very challeging and the Ai have an advantage ok so if u try doing it like that in advanced in a supra it is very hard to win but thats why i say keep all tune ups in fuk standard ****

yeah i had a ruf rgt with well over 1000hp... theres no challenge there.... trust me, i have been there...
