i'd love to have a VW Golf II or an old Ascona or something... :P

thanks for answering :)

do you have a link to a good GT4 page?

KY has said that there will be second hand cars in GT4.

I like the second hand cars best especially now with the 'old' RX-7's & skylines. But really I'd like to see lotsa of old Euro cars, preferably 80's & 90's and some second hand US cars too :)

Kazunori Yamauchi, the guy thats in charge of Polyphony.

I cant link direct to the page but it's an interview that I've seen on a couple of sites, the site I know is www.computerandvideogames.com you have to search for gran turismo 4 and click on the article.

thats good enough for me :)... the only way to have is to get...

Best Regards

I believe not only having a Used car section is enough, there should also be a classic car section too, that would border off certain vehicles: e.g. TWO SECTIONS;

CLASSIC RACING CARS :

FORD GT40
SHELBY MUSTANG
SHELBY COBRA
Audi Quattro

&
CLASSIC CARS:

1971 Maserati Ghibli
1973 Karmann Ghia,
1965 Aston Martin DB5,
1964 Mini Cooper S
1969 Jag E-Type

etc,etc.

I think that would be nice, it would form a sort of niche in the game, and make it more engrossing.

“ Gran Turismo 4 goes on sale winter 2004 exclusively for Sony PlayStation 2. ”
That is better than no release date, this is not confirmed by Sony atleast we think that. Motor Trend may have gotten this information from Sony, there is no clarification. The article also states there are more than 500 licenced cars, Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Porsche will not be in Gran Turismo 4.

i got this from a site at the top i think it was www.granturismo4.tk . anyway so far ive heard there are goin to be lambo and ferraries abd ruf are porsches anyway. i also heard there will no be lambo ferrair and porche. then the release date..... ive heard it being in april, june, july and december. wat the f@#% and body got any reall info:banghead: :irked:

again until Sony or PD comes out with a press statement of any sort and confirms the release date as of right now those are all rumors and no they havent confirmed a release date yet... but back to topic... I hope they have just used car lots and not manufacturercar lots, this way they could have like 4-5 diffrent lots and diffrent cars from diffrent manufacturers, it would add a diffrent feel and a unique one at that IMO but most it will be manufacturer specific lots, and for the old classic cars there is upposed to be a museum section now I dunno if you could buy from there or not but it would be pretty cool if you could...

It'd be better if the Skyline and Supra and Rx7 etc. (out of production cars) were in the Used car lot because on GT1, 2 and 3 they were all in the new car showrooms. Why? If you wouldn't be able to buy a brand new, out-of-the-factory, version of the car, why put it in the car showroom? Even though some of you Skyline etc. lovers might say, They're only a few years old, you would still only buy a second hand one. So IMO, all out of production cars in GT4 should only be able to be purchased in the Used car lot

Sorry but in GT1 the R33 was in the new cars, the R33 was being sold when GT1 came out, the R32 was in the used cars section. GT2 had the R34 inthe new cars section and the R33 and R32 in the used cars. GT3 didn't have a used cars section so all of them were in the new cars section. Also the RX-7 was still in production until not too long ago, last year I think so why would they have that in the used cars section. The only game where the old cars wern't in the used section is GT3 whcih didn't have a used cars section and GT2 if the marque didn't have a used cars section eg Lotus with the Elan.

Oh yah. I bought my GT2 quite late. Thats why the Skylines and stuff were wrong on mine. Also when did the RX7 stop being made?

Last year, the very last mode is the RX-7 spirit R which I think finnished not too long ago it wa a limited run to mark the end o the RX-7.

GT-R's, suprs's and RX-7's are old and are not manufactured but it can still be customly ordered and manufactured to get them brand new. so it can be bought as used cars and also can be bought as brand new cars (though little more $$$). some older modeled cars in motor sport racing are customly order or given by there sponsors. btw this is for JGTC I'm not certain for other racing but I'm almost certain. sorry if I'm wrong.

It would be cool if PD had used cars set up like NFS Porsche Unlimited. Have cars with miles and mods too, so you can always be looking for a unique car!

ya, also what i like in NFS:P is that when you buy a used car it's price dosen't go down, also when you buy a new car it only loses a small percentage of it's price.

in GT2 i made a racing civic that is worth 2400+ cr. on the other hand the mini spetial model costs 500k Cr wich is un fair
