Wouldn't it be great if it was possible to plug my computer into my PS3's ethernet port, and feed off of its wireless signal. It's entirely too logical to be possible, surely. Right?

If your running your PS3 off wireless, then you already have a wireless router...no?

I'm assuming he's being cheap and not buying a 15$ wireless NIC for his PC. I'm 87% sure that you can't with a PS3 but ICS is what you're looking for. However, if you put Linux on the PS3 you may have more luck.

I does seem logical and I thought about it ages ago when I connected my PSP to the PS3 to go on the internet.

So in a way - it is a router for Sony products.
