Anyone up for a V8 supercar series? About 7-8 rounds of 2 sprint races, with one or two single enduro rounds in between

Cars would be Holden Commodore SS, and FPV GT.

Feel free to add suggestions. :)

I'd be in. Want me to do car specs for you, or do you have some in mind?

I was thinking a max of 620bhp, as that is what the real ones have.

Can we race the Ford Falcon XR8 as well?

Also, I hope it's OK to add a rear wing onto our car for either of the two cars you have.:)

I guess I'll come up with some preliminary specs and post later tonight. Right now I'm gonna have a bit of a late dinner and then I'll get to work on the cars. As I recall from doing this in the past, the GT is slightly more modded STOCK than the SS is. No worries though, the cars should end up doing almost identical lap times.

FPV GT

Oil Change, Weight Reduction: Stage 3, Roll Cage, Racing Tires: R2-R4, Transmission: Full Customize, Clutch: Twin Plate, Flywheel: Racing, Suspension: Full Custom, N/A Tune: Stage 3, Port Polish, Racing Brakes, 3D Type D wing (No r/l style wings exist in GT4.)

Holden Commodore SS

Oil Change, Weight Reduction: Stage 3, Roll Cage, Racing Tires: R2-R4, Suspension: Full Custom, Transmission: Full Custom, Clutch: Sports, Flywheel: Sports, N/A Tune: Stage 2, Port Polish, Engine Balance, Racing Chip, Racing Brakes, Exhaust & Air Filter: Sports, Straight Type A Wing.

Tip: The Dunlop 003's look great on these cars and I think that it is one of the wheel/rim combos legal in Aussie V8. If Matt (FireEmblam) approves of these specs, cars MUST be built exactly as seen above.

I like the idea, but I'd probably only be up for it if it were in Arcade mode.

maybe you should talk to dan (danisfast) 'cos he's setting up a tourney similar to this one. you could join forces to make it more successful. otherwise the attention might get broken up, few drivers take part and fewer will remain towards the end of your show.
just a hint - good luck.

As far as I know danisfast is planning on running a big V8 world challenge series (Apparently with all the V8's in GT4). Not an Aussie V8 Supercars series. Of course, his plans could have changed.
