Production Years: 1988-94
Engines: 3.0 24v straight six - 204bhp
4.0 24v straight six (irmscher) - 272bhp

My dad has owned five 3.0 24v senators now so having grown up with them, they've become quite significant to me. I have so many memories of bombing down the motorways in them and hearing the engine roar. I've always wanted to drive one but they're really hard to come by now and i'm only 17 so my chances are only getting slimmer. It would be nice to at least lash one around a track though or drift one around because in my opinion, you can't get better than a RWD saloon. They might not be the most exciting car to look at but they're certainly great to be in. It's a shame they never sold the 4.0 Irmscher over here in the UK. Also, if you're a holden fan; this car was the basis for the VN commodore.

I would prefer the standard version, it looks much better.

I've always preferred the normal styling with that big grill but its the 4.0 engine which makes the Irmscher so appealing to me. I'd be happy either way though or even if they included the Vauxhall Carlton gsi 24v or Opel Omega 3000 instead.

I always wanted to have the Irmscher, never got a chance to buy one. If I´d come across one in good shape today I might even buy it, because I still love them. So me too I would love to drive a Senator in the game at least.
