I am anxious to see the experienced tuners with their theories from previous formats, and what they think about the changes PDi has made.:nervous:

Grinols

Now that it just came to mind, if you need any testers I have a few different wheels and the DS3:idea:

PM me with your thoughts, I'd like to hear what you have in mind.
I've been contacted by 2 others, but neither of them has followed through yet as a potential Featured User for AdrenaTune.

Just had a quick glance, but I'd say the new PP adjustments have completely altered the balance between cars, and I can't say for sure, but it looks even more unbalanced than before. My 450 GT12 now has 230HP for God's sake. My Roadster 07' has gained 30HP from yesterday at 400PP. These were two of the better cars at that PP and these adjustments will dramatically alter their lap times.

Can you say, "starting over"...lol...

I agree. This is ridiculous. My 450PP 330i with 272HP and 1250kg is now at 398PP. What the? My 252HP 1100kg BRZ is now down to 421PP.. Does this mean more power and less weight is available? Some cars, haven't changed, but my 550PP M3 '07 shot down to 543PP. My 420 cars have shot down to the 360-370 range. This is either incredibly broken, or PD is trying to balance out naturally slower cars.

That means you BRZ will be over 300HP now at 450PP as will many other cars. Your 550PP M3 might gain 20HP. Your 450PP 330i might gain 80-90 hp to get back to 450PP.

Hopefully the PP gains of the cars that didn't quite cut it in certain PP groupings but should have, produce big gains in power. Nice to see more cars being able to compete at all PP levels.

I'll have to check the BRZ, but I have a feeling it became slower when everything else had more power, so PD decided it could use even more. No way any of my other 420PP cars (EK9 Civic, for example) could keep up with that car. My M3 gained 45 horses to get back to 550. Crazy. I'm not going to throw on any permanent performance parts because I don't want to have to find a new copy of my car if the PP is changed once again in a future update, which is a possibility. I think I'm actually satisfied with this new update for the most part, because now some of my slower cars should be more competitive.

It's whacked. My spec Silvia RM went from 493pp to 439pp. A DTM A4 I raced on Saturday at 575 Spec is now 517pp. Huge changes.

Actually from a quick glance at cars in my favorites list it looks like PD has been playing favorites again and that we're likely to see a new group of OP cars emerge.

The vette is ugly, can't tune nothing on it, just change oil and tires,i prefered with the cover on.

EDIT: At least it's perfectly balanced, just need to take care out corner with low grip tires.

Had a Crossfire with stage 2 weight and Stage 3 engine along with sports exhaust and a couple other power upgrades that was running fairly well at 500PP a few days ago. Now with all available power upgrades applied and power limiter set to 100% the car is only at 466PP. Doubt that even adding stage 3 weight and a wing (if ones available) would get it back to 500PP.:drool:

Fairlady Z's seem to have suffered a PP hit; most of mine have dropped 30PP. I took a lap around Eiger, grip reduction on real, to compare FRS times to 2.09 times. The FRS was only .7 of a second faster with about 60 more horses and now .6 seconds behind Elise lap times. Maybe the competitive PP gap is getting smaller? Obviously the Elise will win around smaller tracks, but maybe the FRS would dominate on a longer track like the Nurburgring? More testing will be necessary to conclude anything.

Spent the last hour just looking over some of the 500 plus cars in garage( GLANCE is the key word to those that get anal around here:rolleyes:) and it seems PD has mixed all sorts of things up. HP and PP fluctuations all around for roughly ^0% of the cars I have seen so far.

Those that tune for a target PP or HP limit are going to spend a bit of time making changes for sure.

I will send you something on the PM through the system, I dont have the PC in the same room and I am feeling lazy after the baby has worn me out the last few days.

My FR-S that was 450pp on sport softs would run 1:17.1 at my testing track Rome Reverse. That car is now spec'd at 422pp-264hp/1242 kg.I tuned it to 450pp by adding 73 hp,weight unchanged and ran a fast lap of 1:14.6.

For reference my best time in a 450pp car at this track is a 1:16.2 in a GSX-R.
All of this is online/lounge/grip real.

The PP adjustments to the FR-S/GT12 don't make any sense. They could be pretty much unbeatable now. Unless of course a mass of others cars have even higher PP adjustments....lol.

^Case in point^
The FR-S and its clones were already fairly competitive with most cars in their PP class. Now they will become like the Elise used to be, having a significant performance edge over most other cars.
This isn't ballancing the majority of cars better, instead it's giving large performance gains to selected cars, many of which weren't necessarily outclassed to start with.:(

A 1:19 sec Rome rev Lexus SC430 that was 450pp @ 256 hp is now @ 413.

We have hundred setups that need to be checked and fixed..

All this means is play in roooms now with lower pp.. Where I use to race in 500pp rooms looks like all those room will be 450 or 475pp rooms now is all..

My new Aston Martin V12 vantage '10 for example
for 550PP - 1480 kg - 560 hp before 2.10
now go to
for 550PP - 1480 kg - 629 hp after 2.10

This will be a serious concurent for the LFA , at least it seems.

LOL..if you think that's all it means you're missing the boat my friend.

My 593 HP C8 Laviolette cannot make 550pp now..if it could I think it would be 650HP. Curiously I don't think the LFA changed at all, you'd think it might have gone down.

The brz may have gotten faster, but it's no longer possible to compete in 500pp. Max without aero was 480pp.
The CSL, which used to dominate at 550pp has also slowed down at that level. Not sure if it's possible to get it to 550pp now without aero.
The DB9 which used to be sort of a pig at 505pp is now a monster, I just ran a 6:54 with it at the Ring. I'm sure it's capable of 6.49 with a better driver.

It's wacky, I do not like what they did. I'm sure many of my favorite cars will become non competitive at this level and some odd cars will get better. I'm worried about my 111r...

Hmmm... Just took a spin in my Takata and I do feel a difference. The rumors of a Physics change may be true after all. Personally I feel a bit more grip at the front end, or just a looser feel overall, but on entry I'm getting a bit more pitch than usual, and in ess curves, the car is a bit twitchy going side to side quickly.
