I build some sort of handbrake a year ago , but I used a hydraulic switch,soldered to the t500rs ,working with brake fluid and an proper pressure point .Tell me what you think.I saw this and had an idea, put a couple of heavy duty springs on and put a momantary switch on it connect to a second ps3 controller and you have a vertical handbrake lever simple as that.

I soldered the wire on the R3 button from the T500 base , closing the circuit under pressure.Where did you Solder the switch into the T500RS? And when the lever is pulled does it close or open the circuit?
I am planning on tackling this also by using a hydraulic handbrake with fluid and a pressure switch... its what i use on my motorcycle to trigger the brake lights.
