Tell me what you think.I saw this and had an idea, put a couple of heavy duty springs on and put a momantary switch on it connect to a second ps3 controller and you have a vertical handbrake lever simple as that.

I build some sort of handbrake a year ago , but I used a hydraulic switch, soldered to the t500rs ,working with brake fluid and an proper pressure point .
👍 your picture looks awesome

I would imagine that would have been complicated using hydraulic fluid, your rig looks great.pic of mine

wasn't really difficult , just had to solder some resistor between .
I don't know exatcly what I did , was just a trial and error because i'm no electrician or something like that
your rig looks great too , the first time I saw someone crazy like me ,who's using proper seatbelts :D
I would wear a helmet but my wife would call the medic for some mental researches if I would wear it :D
pic of mine

Where did you Solder the switch into the T500RS? And when the lever is pulled does it close or open the circuit?
I am planning on tackling this also by using a hydraulic handbrake with fluid and a pressure switch... its what i use on my motorcycle to trigger the brake lights.

I soldered the wire on the R3 button from the T500 base , closing the circuit under pressure.
R3 ist just an on/off button and I didn't found a way to make it analogue, yet.
maybe I solder it to my button box because theres analogue opportunities left.but I'm satisfied with the digital solution atm.
keep me informated about your project
