I'll challenge myself to a Ring lap in a stock Veyron when I get GT6. This thing might barely fall into Supercar C class, or less, Sports A class.

I was able to lap the Nurburgring North about 1.4 seconds faster with the 2007 GT-R. It goes to about almost 4 seconds with the Spec-V GT-R. All on the "Sport Hard" tires. To my ghost, the Veyron makes time up on the uphill sections and the straight. But the corners. Ehhh, it doesn't give me the confidence to rotate the chassis in left to right sections.

It's good fun though! It's surely a enjoyable challenge. Happy racing!

I got a 7:03 lap. I classify it under Supercar B class. Yes, it was on Sports hards.

The Bugatti Veyron Beetle Edition is coming out at the end of the year I believe...

It's oddly beautiful, though the side intakes are too crisp for the Beetle bodylines. I've been meaning to get back into metalworking...

Anyway, I don't care much for the Veyron when used in the game with a controller but I would dive at the opportunity to take one around a track that I know for some casual laps (if a Veyron owner is reading this, I promise not to get on it too hard). It's an engineering marvel, if a bit excessive in all aspects.

The Stig uses 1:18:3 to do the power lap, a French driver Alain is not happy with that time and takes his own veyron to complete TGTT In 1:11:2. It is the unofficial fastest power lap record.

The Bugatti Veyron Beetle Edition is coming out at the end of the year I believe...

Am I the only one here that likes this more than the real Veyron, minus the horrendous headlights? It has that cool, retro look with the smooth, rounded, and flowing lines. The chrome parts are a nice touch as well. I think it looks like a car that would be owned by a millionaire in an alternate reality 1950's.

As far as I know, it hasn't changed since GT5. So, it only stays one color over the entire car. No two-tone paint jobs.

The Veyron is hilarious. If you get the racing suspension and lower it all the way then take it to SSRX, when you get up to high speeds the car will start riding on the floor and you'll completely lose steering control. I guess it's doing what it's designed to do in real life. When it gets up to high speeds the active suspension is supposed to lower itself.

The guy in the F1 was a real Ahola. lol

I could have pushed harder and taken the F1 at Karussell but I decided to follow him on the back half and overtake on the straight.

I suggest Race Normal tires for 2 pitstops, then last lap do race soft tires.
