What was the insane jump rating on that Shannon...does the fabled quadruple exist??

I don't think there is such thing as a quadruple insane stunt. I got a normal Triple Insane Stunt Bonus for my 2000+ degree spin.

BTW - I have to wait until next Friday before I can get screenshots up. My stupid dad forgot to give me the USB cord and the software - so I can't upload my pics to the computer. :irked:

I think my best is only like a normal insane stunt.

I have a saved game in which I obtained 91 hidden packages and did nothing else. It had 478 shots fired-- utilizing the helicopter shots fired glitch I used the sea sparrow and let her rip into a blown up car. After about 12 hours I got an accuracy of 100,012% and a CR of 500,227 which is a Don not a GodFather. I took the attached pic and left it going. My CR is now 570,000 and I should hit 1,000,000 in about 10 or 11 hours. Hopefully this is the Godfather rank.

Oops forgot to attach pic...see next post.

See attached-

I have a saved game with 91 packages found and nothing else. I utilized the helicopter shots fired glitch to get the following using the sea sparrow. It took 12 hours. It is still going with a CR of 570,000 (still a Don). Hopefully 1,000,000 is Godfather-- should know in about 10-11 more hours.

CR- 500,227
Accuracy- 100,012%

so, is that just experimental, or do you want it to go in the record book?

Yes, it is experimental.

You can put the accuracy in the record book but the CR should probably be limited to people with 100% completed--the game I'm using is at 9%.

Obviously no game can get over 100% accuracy without using the glitch.

FYI-- Its over 600,000 now..still a DON.

In my 100% completed game--I'm at a CR of about 50,000.

There is a glitch in the game. For whatever reason, shots fired by the Hunter or Sea Sparrow don't count as shots fired but if they hit something the do count as shots hit. All you do is use a game with a low amount of shots fired (mine had 478). I parked the Sea Sparrow in the field behind sunshine autos with it aimed at a blown up car. I taped down the R1 button so it shoots continuosly and then let it go.

I had roughly 478 shots fired and 478,000 hits== 100,000% The CR goes up 5000 points for every 1000%

If anyone wants to calculate how long it will take to raise their CR. Multiply 100,000 times their shots fired in your game. Divide the result by 50,000 (approximate # of shots per hour by the Sea sparrow or hunter). The result should be the number of hours to raise your CR 500,000 points above its current level.

For what ever reason, my stats show that I've gone to level 12 vigilante-- I never did vigilante in this game. Hmmm??

Definitely...

Great work spuds...looks like you'll finally unravel that damn mystery...

Off playing elder scrolls III, plus my computer is on death's doorstep.

Playing Morrowind, eh?

Cool, I love Morrowind. I've completed Morrowind and the Tribunal addon pack. I can't wait for Bloodmoon. I've heard it adds a huge island (25% size of Morrowind) off to the north with new enemies and castles and towns and lycanthropy to add to Morrowind's vampirism abilites.

Cool.

Hmmm, I've another VC game with 71% completed.

I might try that trick too to see what kind of crazy CR I get.

Do you have to just aim a copter at a car and fire for hours on end?

Forget, how about if I start a new game, do nothing but collect hidden packages, shoot ONE shot, and then try out the trick?

No wait, that's stupid, I have to complete missions to unlock Island II.

Never mind.

I'm sick of Vice City at the moment. Seeming as I've got 100% and couldn't be bothered breaking records, I decided to go back to the good ol' GTA III.

Once I get my digital camera working, I'll show you how to get 2000+° spins.

Kieran, you could use one of those "get to the second island early" cheats...;)

Update, I saved and turned off my game last night about midnight. It was at 890,000 (still a Don). I will definitely get it over a million today and post a pic if it changes to godfather.

They aren't really cheats-- you just bypass barriers. I found one on accident on the southernmost bridge. Get up alot of speed on a PCJ. Aim between the middle and north concrete barrier there is a slight gap. Make sure you are not turning as you approach (bike has to be upright--this is kind of tricky as you have to do a slight turn as you approach because there is a light pole on the right) about 10-20% of the time I make it through (takes some practice and you will hit the cars turning left at the hospital more then once). After you get across--buy the skumole shack so you have a save point. If you die on the second island or get busted they send you back to the first. You will need to fly back to starfish Island with the police maverick to get the sea skimmer.

Also, I first tried it with my saved game with 91 packages and saw it was going up pretty fast but calculated it would still take at least 10 hours. So I started a new game and collected 80 packages (for the sea skimmer) and purposely did not shoot (I didn't even grab a gun). It took me about 90 minutes to get 80 packages. I then went to get the sea skimmer. I checked my stats and although I had not picked up a gun I had 8 hits on 17 shots fired. I went ahead and started shooting at a car and got my accuracy up to 20,000 in no time. My CR is stuck at 93 though. THere might be a minimum # of shots before it will start raising your CR. I went ahead and saved the game to find out later and restarted my other one.

Also, this is kind of weird. BUt since I flew repeatedly from downtown to the mansion. I noticed if I flew around the right side of the mansion--the sea skimmer would not spawn but if I flew around the left it would.

Don't hate me--this is just an experiment to find out what CR is needed for Godfather--so I have some idea how long its gonna take me. I don't want the CR record this way.

In fact-- I think INTEGRA should require the screen shot of a record have the 100% completed visible since while it is possible to boost your CR with a 100% game. It will take a rediculous amount of time.

I'm up over 1,000,000 but still a DON...Maybe you need 100% completion to get Godfather--I've read 500,000 and 1,000,000 for godfather on different FAQs--nothing about 100% completed though.

Alternately, DON is the highest.

Here is a screen shot.

Wow...yeh Spuds, maybe you need to do all the missions and other stuff before it recognises that you're a "Godfather"

Well you guys, unfortunatley i have final exams on Thursday :( wednesday is my last day for classes and exams go until wednesday next week, so as for Vice City i may get to play it evey once and while, but for right now Integra is the killing mastor!!!....... until next week sometimes that is.

I left it going all day today--I just reached 1,500,000 and its still a Don. My accuracy is over 300,000% now. I'm beginning to think you do need 100% to get Godfather (anybody wanna call Rockstar and verify). I'm gonna let it go to 2,000,000 and see what it does.

Spuds

ps

Also, earlier I gave a calculation for figuring out number of hours to raise your CR by 500,000 points. I was off by a factor of 100. It should have been multiply shots fired by 1,000 (not 100,000) and then divide by 50,000 to get number of hours to raise it. Simplifying, just divide your shots fired by 50 to get the same number. Someone with 50,000 shots fired will need to let it go 1000 hours or about 40 days straight.
