Still, them cars sound ever so good. 👍 I still think the Gallardo/RS4 are the best sounding cars to me though.

oh yeah the road car AMG's do sound very different. Id get AMG to tune mine to sound like a F1 car when ragging it though, and meaty when cruising.

Sounds really good, but another think I noticed was just how little it rolled and dived under cornering and braking. Seems even stiffer than the Gallardo.

well it seems like the audi R8 will be more sporting than that of the lambo being lighter an all, but then again the lambo boss said he wants to lighten his gallardo too.

I dont think the R8 will be stealing any sales as the price difference will be rather big, and lamborghinis are better posing machines, and the waiting list is long.

the 69, dont know if it is the GT500 though as the sky magazine didnt say.

The link even says a 450Hp V10 to keep the Gallardo sales up.

Gallardo lists are extremely short, and many are bought 1st hand at dealers. It's the Murcielagos with long waiting lists.

Audi boss says plans to include a biturbo V10 with about 600 hp, and a V12 diesels with about 450hp. I dont think they would go for a 450hp detuned lambo engine as theres no point as the gaps too small from the 420hp V8, which is a dream everyday use engine.

Yeah there is no ways they will make it more than 500hp for now. The Gallardo is getting an engine upgrade but only by about 20 - 50bhp. Audi are not allowed to exceed the outputs of the lambo by order of VW head office.

Audi will probably go with a Diesel later in its life after the win in the Le Mans. It will be a very good Diesel I suspect as well.

I cant tell the difference, but I trust one of my fellow audi fanboys who insists thats the V8, and hes usually right on everything else, and has insider info, so I now insist that thats the V8.

you mean that old Mustang in that vid? that's a regular '68 or '69, maybe a Mach 1. Not a Shelby - wrong taillights.

...Good point, I didn't even look for the taillights. That would probably make it a GT350 (guessing by the stripes?) or some kind of GT390 knock-off (see Bullitt), but I'm not a Mustang fan, so I have no idea.

EDIT: Yeah, it's a GT350 in the video. The sticker on the side gives it away.

...On the Audi R8's audio, I'd positive that Poverty is right in his assumption that it is a V8. It may not be the best comparison, but in PGR3, the Lambo V10 has a bit more of a mechanical noise to it, not the throaty, low-end sound most V8s have.

Except a Lambo is soposed to sound mechanical, an Audi? Not so much I feel as though an Audi should sound organic in a way, just because of the different markets they compeat in. Well not really all that different but the nameplate... you know?

...I think I understand. I was having a tough time explaining the exhaust of the Lamborghini in a way that made sense. Mechanical was the best I could come up with, as it has kind of a hard, metalic like snap to the sounds near the top end... Not nearly as smooth of a sound that the RS4 produces in the game.
