I was browsing through some photographs when I saw the white van in a thumbnail, looked pretty scary so I opened it. As you can see there is a really cool vintage looking Japanese car standing on the right side of the pic.

The car on the right looks quite beautiful but I have no idea at all from what manufacturer it is. Too bad you can only see half of it. Does anyone know what it is?

thanks!

nope. that van's body kit looks like the inside of my shower!!

I think it's a Nissan. I have no idea of the exact name.

I believe they had something on Top Gear about it a long time ago, in the days of Vicky BH and Tiff Needell.

It's a Nissan Figaro

It's definitely cool, but it looks like they slammed on the brakes and the body slid about a foot too far forward on the wheels.

76bhp from a 998cc engine. FWD. 93bhp per ton. Couldn't find any performance figs for it.

 the insight has a worthy opponent! I want a Figaro Nurburgring endurance race in GT4!

hahahaha that van gets me...someone must either love their van or live in it! ....though the car to the right is quite a debate, I like it.

hehe

Looks like the van could generate enough downforce at high speeds. Too bad that it looks like it won't make it over 100 km/h because of the drag.

The Nissan Figaro certainly is a strange little car.

Found this about it :

"This car was so popular that a Lottery was held to determine who would get to purchase one of the 20,000 made."

So its also quite a rare car.

EDIT : found a nice figaro site with plenty of specs and pics

Looks like that little car can go in my "Small Car" thread. It's is a nice machine. Very nice. And I see that it is a NISSAN, so this car probably came after Datsun changed its name to Nissan.

Loads of Figaros here in Hong Kong. Based on a Micra, I believe.

By the way. I may have seen a few car bodykits go bad, that Toyota van is worse-looking than the mods for that van in Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero!

Hong Kong you say? Can't wait to race those streets in GT4! That was off-topic, I know.
