Can't. American Playstation 2's are designed for Amercian power points which put out less (or is it more) volts than the power points found in Australia. Plus, if I were to buy something from America, it would cost me double in Australian money.

Example: If a Playstation 2 is say $100 in America, it would cost me $200 Australian.

See. It would be a rip-off. I would have to pay shipping as well, plus Ii'd have to wait about a week, and then I'd have to buy a transformer to change the amount of volts coming from the Australian powerpoint into the American Playstation 2. So I'd be paying about an extra 50-100 dollars.

BTW - A tranformer is a box that you connect to the powerpoint and then connect the other end to the machine.
