Kangaroo-induced yellow.

The Nissans are down on power compared to the rest of the field though right?

Not sure about the power. But they don't have the straight line speed of the others.
Ah.....Jack Daniels car just hit a Kangaroo! :(

Poor Skippy. :(

I can't think of anything more Australian than a V8 Supercar hitting a Kangaroo during the Bathurst 1000

...I would miss a Kangaroo on the track.

Race still isn't on Firstrow. If anyone has an "alternative" way of watching the race, feel free to PM me.

Bathurst is not Bathurst without a kangaroo.

Try the stream again, its working for me now.

My question is why would a Kangaroo hang around with all the noise and people?

It happens all to regularly though. You would think they would have ways of ensuring that Kangaroos can't get onto the track.

A kangaroo is Australian so it is not bothered by V8s or bogans.

kangaroos are more worried about drop bears than noise or people

Watching it on viplivebox and muted it to have the radio le mans commentary instead :)

Judging by the speed of the #1 car, should they make no mistakes I feel the rest are racing for 2nd place.

Ekstrom looking really good, nice pass on Percat.

Okay, I got it back. Turns out Firefox thought the video was "unsecure."

Can't help but be impressed, he looks like a Bathurst veteran out there.

I wonder why the Kangaroo incident wasn't shown? Too graphic?

Ekstrom is a pleasure to watch drive, he'll pass anywhere.

I wonder why Audi doesn't put him in a prototype.

EDIT: John Andretti did Bathurst?

Lowndes is in :)

One year I remember they did show it, they got into a bit of trouble and had to apologise. Ekstrom looks really good, and Prilaux has driven well here before too if my memory is right

Saw a tuft of fur on the side of the road.

Jones is holding up Baird and Ekstrom is coming. Hes got talent and with T8 preparing the car, they look really good towards the end of the race. I wonder hoe Schneider would have done if he was in the #9.

I hate nanny state crap that this world is coming too.

Yep. 1988 with GRM.

Fairly sure that was 2004(?). When Jim Richards hit a kangaroo in pretty much the same spot the Nissan did earlier today.

I figured that's why they didn't, and I'm sure it wasn't a pretty sight..

What's wrong with Ekstrom's lights?

Just what I figired. Baird complaining about Jones blocking and its gonna slow him when Ekstrom goes to pass.

What's wrong with Ekstrom's lights?

My guess is nothing and he's just trying to annoy anyone in front of him :sly:

Ekstrom again

Those lights would be driving everyone up the wall. That wind wouldn't be helping either
