RECs in play include: Charlie Schwerkolt's #18 license (at Ford Performance Racing), James Rosenberg's #47 (at Erebus Motorsport), Paul Morris' #97 (at Tekno Autosports), Dean Fiore's #12 (at Dick Johnson Racing), Tony D'Alberto's #3 license and the #80 and #88 at Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport.
With Paul Morris linked with a return to V8 Supercars as a team boss with his Paul Morris Motorsport operation running as a customer team of Triple Eight, there is expected to be a significant shuffle amongst the paddock.
Tekno Autosports and Erebus Motorsport have stated their intentions to remain as two- and three-car operations respectively, while Walkinshaw Racing has declared its interest in expanding with a fourth car alongside its two Holden Racing Team entries and one Supercheap Auto Racing entry.
Ford Performance Racing could downsize to three entries (two Pepsi Max and one Bottle-O entry) should Schwerkolt move his license, while ongoing budget concerns could force Dick Johnson Racing down to one entry with Fiore's #12 license linked to Paul Morris Motorsport.
Nissan Motorsport is set to remain as a four-car operation with an unchanged driver and sponsor line-up, while Volvo Polestar Racing will use the two Garry Rogers Motorsport licenses in a multi-year deal with the team.
