Is he?@prisonermonkeys Don't expect to see Bill Woods back. He's hosting a late night sports show on 7 Mate.
Huh, I was sure he would be in the second Volvo, Garry Rogers seemed happy with his performance in the enduros.
Probably back in Carrera Cup, I'd say. He's been successful there, unlike his time in V8s.I wonder where Alex will end up if anywhere?
I'm waiting for the Jason Bright one with the JR Trophy. You buying?![]()
Sorry for your loss, I too have personally seen what cancer does. Very sad news.I'm waiting for the Jason Bright one with the JR Trophy.
Lost my best mate to Cancer on Sunday who ran the race team i worked with,
At at the start of the year I had been talking to Jason Bright and Andrew Jones about him and got some JR stickers to put on the race cars on our team as felt Alex and Jason followed the same path in life, both lived for their racing and used it as their medicine as they would do anything to race no matter how ill they were. He went on the 15/12 the same day as jason. Looks like he was calling him up for a team mate.
His son James drove his race car at the head of the funeral procession, Hardest thing ive had to see.

Tony D’Alberto Racing is working hard to ensure that its entry returns to the V8 Supercars grid in a rejuvenated form next season.
The team has confirmed that it will no longer run as a single-car operation from its own Melbourne workshop.
TDR was one of three that did not enter its Racing Entitlements Contract before the December 1 deadline, but is currently chasing sponsorship to sew up a return.
Taking its REC to Tekno Autosports, which is down to a single entry, is said to be its preferred scenario.
Bringing a commercial package to Brad Jones Racing for Tony D’Alberto to replace the DJR-bound David Wall in the Albury-based team’s third car is also a possibility.
The latter move is thought to be a lower cost option, but would see TDR forced to relinquish the REC that it has owned since the end of 2009.
I'm waiting for the Jason Bright one with the JR Trophy.
Jason's sending me oneProbably a bit late on this. But I assume you've seen the JR mini helmets. Jason Bright is selling.
Motorfocus have a couple? And you should have asked him hence why postage only has Australia, New Zealand and ScotlandBoth of those are nice, I really wanted one of those helmets but didn't ship to the states. Hopefully one day I can score these helmets if he keeps making them.
Sorry to hear about your mate, cancer sucks period! I have only lost one person to it but never an easy thing to watch.
As the final pieces of the 2014 V8 Supercars Championship grid puzzle fall into place, the category’s top teams are working hard to lock down their line-ups for the Pirtek Enduro Cup.
Steven Richards replaces Warren Luff alongside Craig Lowndes, while Paul Dumbrell is confirmed to return with Jamie Whincup.
Luff, who won the inagural Enduro Cup alongside Lowndes despite struggling at certain stages, is understood to be in talks with Walkinshaw Racing about joining its endurance line-up for 2014.
The factory Ford team is one of several known to have been in contact with Steven Johnson, who impressed with Erebus Motorsport in this year’s Cup and appears an ideal co-driver for the relatively inexperienced Chaz Mostert.
Erebus will need just two co-drivers thanks to its revised structure. Craig Baird’s seat alongside Lee Holdsworth is thought to be secure for a third season, while FPR refugee Alex Davison is being tipped as a possible partner for his brother Will in the second entry.
Changes are also expected at Nissan Motorsport, with the factory team working on calling in at least one of its internationals.
German Michael Krumm and Spaniard Lucas Ordonez both tested the team’s Altima’s at Winton in August, reportedly impressing in the process.
Polestar’s stable of Swedish Volvo drivers could further bolster foreign involvement in next year’s endurance races, although the identity of its second full-time driver is yet to be made clear, leaving co-driver discussions premature.
