3 Nismo? So the Nissans are scaling down? and LDM up to 3 cars?? Who is in the third? How does LDM manage to get 3 cars when others struggle lol

Good for Volvo with a stronger second driver now, I felt sorry for Premat when he was ditched. He should have kept his drive as he really wasnt that bad, just unlucky and a little inconsistent but overall he showed he can have good speed on his day. But I guess Volvo wanted a Swede in the car at the time??

I was thinking that too. LDM would more likely scale down, but that won't happen as they just got their REC back.

Do you mean Dahlgren? Premat is french. Both of them were complete rookies when they joined and were never going to make much of an impact. Dahlgren was definitely part of the Volvo deal but I'm not sure why they wanted Premat. It annoys me how we have a massive pool of talent in the DVS series and in Australia/NZ in general who know how to drive these cars yet 2-3 seats always go to pay-drivers who spend the entire year at the back.

I'm pretty sure it was Polestar that wanted Dahlgren there, so he could help them develop the engine, due to his experience in the STCC for Volvo-Polestar.

I thought they were staying at 4 as there has been talk of Dale Wood replacing Moff?

I'm guessing it was speculation on O5XR8's part. I can't see any of the more notable teams down scaling. Erebus would be the only one I can think of if they don't get Reynolds.

I think there is also a rumour that Erebus' second REC will go to Super Black?

So Erebus are definitely going to 1 car next year? As much as I love the Merc they would have been far better off running Falcons. The whole Erebus deal is turning into a death sentence for what was once a very strong team.

Last week, on Inside Supercars(like a 1hour novela). There was specualtion of possibly 3 cars for NISMO. I have no idea about the 4th car.

LDM(edit: BJR)

As for Erebus. Betty admitted her mistake. How long she'll run that E63 she'll is anyone's guess. Does the engine cease to be a Three-pointed star because they don't have AMG's blessing? It's more Erebus than HWA anyway. Can they dump it into a Mustang or Holden in 2017? We'll see.

Richard Emery has announced that the 4th car is here to stay. Who's in it is anyone's guess, but it is understood they are already searching for the new driver.

Now that's a feel good podium. Awesome comeback for Courtney/Perkins first win and Nissan on the podium!

I really ought to stick more with touring cars! I feel much more at home watching tin tops than sportscars, rallying or GT's. But I have been missing all of it for the WEC, ELMS and Blancpain GT Series.

I work within NMUK (Nissan Motors UK). Well, a company called Unipres which makes the bodyshell for Nissan cars located next door to the plant in the NE of England. So I really am happy for the Nissan's and I hope this is the start of something good that can happen maybe in 2016.

It hasn't been confirmed but it would make sense. They've now got 800k with Davo leaving and they can use that to get a decebt driver and focus on one car effecticely

It might make sense, but I don't think that they would want to give up on Walsh. He has struggled, but Erebus back a lot of junior drivers - like Jack LeBrocq and Adam Marjoram. Scaling back to one car makes little sense when the problem is the car itself.

It's probably a bit late in the season to do that. And who would they go to?

She has mentioned it would be prudent to keep the engines she has spent money to develop. It then becomes a question of, is an EMV8 engine classed as a generic engine or an AMG? If it is a stand alone engine and she switches manufacturers(as all 5 chassis are virtually the same), the main tooling will be the silhouette. How much different is the E63 shape to an Altima or the slightly shorter S60?

GRM switched to Volvo using its Commodore chassis. The main concern was fitting the engine. It'll be up to whatever agreement Betty and her possibly new manufacturer come to concerning engines.

I would go with Chiyo, Buncombe hasn't been that good in the Altima, much better suited to the GT3s
