What about the cars that weigh more than 1200kg like the 1500kg Schulze GTR?

I crossed them out. I'll delete tham to make things easier

EDIT: These two upcoming weekends I'm busy, but we can have a test race/room on Saturday, March 10th. The exact time is TBD. I have also added qaulifying directions, and Monza is on the schedule.

The R8LMS is no match for these cars at 600hp. I tried every car and it was slower than all of them by at least a half a second. I think the RX7LM should be allowed. It's pretty good and is faster in my hands than the Panoz. The CLK-LM is way quick, I like the handling. But at 600hp it'll wipe the floor with the competition. This is just my testing. I tried different tracks and it's about a half second faster than most any other car. Even the McLaren at 1150kg. The only cars I see challenging are the Zonda, possibly the XJ220 and maybe the Vipers, if it could go with 575hp. But it'll still be as fast as any of the others.

The RX7 weights 1438 KG. that's why I counted it out. I've found that the Corvette RM, and the Pagani Zonda are pretty competitive. The BMW needs tuning, te Jagaur is competitive too. The CLK is fast but its 🤬 in the corners. I'll do some extensive testing tonight.

The RX7LM weighs 1080kg STOCK, it's available only in the UCD! I have a couple of them.

You must have the tuner car or the road car. The heaviest the RX7LM weighs is 1280kg with full ballast. BTW I'm getting online to practice, so add me and find me.

The only time I can get online today is about 7-10 p.m. tonight and your on my friends list. Your about 3 hours ahead? But hopefully you will be on by then. I updated the OP, and btw, if this ever gets big enough I'm considering 2 classes with the Lister and Schulze in the slower class. I also took out the CLK. Sorry Seth. But if it was going to beat everyone, then it wouldn't have been fum. I'm trying to make the closest racing possible.

You need to do an insane amount of testing to achieve that last line....

I already did. The cars wee all within .05 of eachother. I know that's a lot, but I'm still working on it. And since you keep posting in here, do you want to join or what?

It's fast. I'm going to make my final car decision tonight. It might be the vette, but I'm not sure yet.

So you didn't adjust its performance? Pretty sure that's what testing is for...

The stealth F1 isn't a race car. It's a street car. I didn't know this was a street car championship. I don't care about not being able to use the CLK either, that's fine. There are other cars I'm faster with anyway.

I'm still testing them all out. Earlier I did a lot of testing- I think we should base the specs around 635PP. If every car is 1200kg- The Vettes and the Ford GT are damn fast with 560hp. The Panoz needs around 580hp to keep up. The Viper is good around 565hp. This is my testing results. If the Audi is allowed and it's 610hp the other cars I mentioned don't need that much power. If they have 600hp they blow the R8LMS away. The Prototype NSX-LM is good at 575hp, the RX7LM doesn't have much downforce, so 1150kg and 565hp allow it to keep pace. I didn't test out the other cars today. Yesterday though the XJ220LM was pretty capable as well.

Well what other non race car based road car has adjustable downforce? It's as much a race car as any other race car in the game...

Tommy Kaira ZZ has adjustable downforce, and weighs around 1100kg. You just said "non-race car". But then said it's "as much a race car as any other race car in the game"? Double negative in your statement. I'm not in charge but making a point. You want to use a road car but call it a race car. Theres already an F1 on the list.

I drive from the cockpit....

The normal F1 is pure to what the design originally was, the Longtail version was forced upon them to be able to compete with the 'spirit of the rules my arse' 911 GT1s and CLKs. I love McLaren and I love the F1 bit only the one that actually won Le Mans, not the ugly version that rarely won a thing in 1997 (after JJ Letho couldn't beat the Mercs anymore).

I'm no fan of the longtail either, and the car is tricky to setup right in GT5. I think I might use a Ford GT or the Viper. Not sure yet.
