I didn't know that you can paint a standard cars?

You can't paint rims/wheels on standards, but you can paint the actual car. Unless its a racing car or unique type of car, then you cannot, but most of the 800 or so standards are paintable.

I tried it and it works, after having the game for 10 months, now only I know that you can paint standard car:banghead:

I love the Volkswagen W12 Nardo. Makes a good noise, handles beautifully and goes like stink plus has a really interesting incar view since V2.0 due to the full glass roof with support bar running the length of the cabin.

One of my top 5 wishes to become a premium car.

This car fully tuned and setup well is one of the best handling cars in the game, I absolutely love it!

I've done a 7:03.730 with it STOCK on the Nordschleife, with sports hard tyres, so yep, it's very fast and handles great. It can do this track under 7 mins stock though, I know it.

To the original poster, I feel bad that you only received negative comments about this car before you made your decision to pass it up. This is a fantastic car. Of the super cars that I've used online, this is the one that I always bring out when I'm tired of finishing second. It is almost as fast as my beast Speed 12, but it goes around corners with the greatest of precision. You said you like cars that handle well. In that, you were led to make a mistake.

I'm STILL waiting for this to appear in the UCD. It was one of my favorites from GT4 and it's taking a ridiculous amount of time to appear for me. Lately I've been running one event in Seasonals and then checking the UCD for anything rare, then repeating. :indiff:

I've been doing essentially the same thing. I want one so badly!

honestly, if you had the credits you should have bought it. After a while, you will start collecting cars......you cant trade for this, and you will probably see it maybe one other time and might not have the cash.

Still waiting for it to show in UCD, it's one of my last 41 to complete full Gt5 car collection.

Make sure to post in my "every car in GT5" thread to get on the list of the official club. :sly:

I wish I had had the credits when I saw it once before.

I had completely forgotten about this car when I started collecting cars(though I still refuse to buy certain cars), then it showed itself in the UCD and immediately snatched it.

I've passed it up four times now.

But that's only because I already have three of them. Brilliant car. Next to the Bentley Speed 8, my daily driver. Instant therapy for boredom.

Is this car faster than a veyron on an average track?

You mean "Only now I know that you can paint standard car". Obviously you're not the only who knows that Standard cars are paintable which is what you mean in your original sentence.

Just noticed last nite that I have 4 Nardo's:dunce:

guess after all the talk in this thread, I need to drive one of them...💡

i own two and they are absolutley amazing. with the front end downforce lots of pp restrictive rooms don't allow you to use them but if they allow it they usually come out close to the front if not first. i think its the best handling MR car i own.

Any pics of the interior guys? i havent had the pleasure of driving one after the specII update.

Well, it is a CONCEPT car, so I doubt it'll handle well.
The version of the Nardo in the game was a preproduction prototype that VW put tons of miles on in order to test it for production, because before Piëch got the Veyron he was going to force VW to build it. For that reason it should handle relatively well.

The concept versions of the Nardo were the yellow and red ones that were in the first Test Drive Unlimited.

It seems to be designed to go around in circles, as it holds some handful of records at the track is was named after, The Nardo Ring. Then it was never seen again... way to prove your super car building abilities, Volkwagen. I applaud you. It must've cost millions to design and build and then run it in a circle - wow.
They never built it because they built the Veyron instead.

It has no significant standing in any page of automobile history even in Volkwagen itself.
You say in the same post where you proceed to talk up the ZZ-II.

There are plenty of Ferrari's, Lamorghini's, McLaren F1s, and ZZ-II's that are much better than it.
Not really. The Maccy, maybe. The ZZ-II? Doubtful. The Enzo? Absolutely not. Either of the Murcielagos?

And everyone in this thread is hyping it for no reason.
Except it is fast, handles well and is relatively easy to drive.

Powered by a sedan engine

You mean like the Pagani Zonda? The Ford GT?

At least the Nardo had the engine before Volkswagen detuned it in and put it in their other cars, rather than just modifying something they sourced from something else.

how i will found it? i can`t found it in the used cars.. help me

You really just have to wait for it to pop up (either in the OCD or the UCD), honestly. No other way to get it I'm afraid. Try power-cycling the UCD by entering events and quitting out of them, and see if that helps.

It is also available from a 2001 Ticket, but with 73 cars available on that ticket, it might take some time spamming that ticket to get the car. ;)

great car. i love the way it handles. just feels a little bit heavy.

any garage isnt complete without it.

Any of you know what kind of transmission it has in real life? MT or what? thanks.

Was a regular 6-speed:

Thanks, Toronado! Good one. I’m in spasms now, dammit.

DEATHSARTHE - Having grown accustomed to respecting your opinion, I’m baffled by your contempt for the Nardo. How come, man? Well, to each his own.. . .

As for me, as mentioned earlier, I have three:

And this one has over a hundred wins:

I have it. You can not add a wing, but I win the 650pp seasonal at Madrid all the time with it. Its very quick, and could have potential in drag racing.
