Wow, look at how the rear wheels are cambered! This thing's heavy! I thought Honda's ad for the Element, with CG-ed "megabloks" (so they say in the small prints) was cool, but this thing's even better!

Wow! I thought it was going to be some stupid little lego car! But this is sick! Do you think they glued the peices togeather?

it's not lego, it's blocko!

Wow.. that's sweet. I Think it's a necessity to glue it, the pieces would fall apart from their own weight.

That is awesome.

When they are finished with it, I hope they push it off the roof or something. That would be worth taping.

It should exist in Volvo's lineup. I wish I had that many Legos that color, as well.

Why? That color sucks. Light blue on a premium SUV? Ick. Only Audi can pull off extravagant colors on premium and performance cars.

They should've used RANDOM Lego block colours. Like a ibt of red, then yellow, then blue...

You know what I hated the most when I was a kid? When my stupid teachers in elementary school called them Legos. They are Lego! NO PLURAL!

I'm not going to lie to you. When I was younger, I LOVED Lego blocks! You can build anything from them as long as you have an imagination and an eye for art. I've never made anything that was like... BIG, but my imagination was so childish even then.

But that XC90 Lego Replica reminded me so much about the toys I loved to play with when I was a child. Nowadays, I still have most of my Legos in a big Rubbermaid tub. This tub is cracking though, may want to buy a new one and hold on to my childhood memories.

It's blue because that's about the only color left.

If they did red, it'd be hard to see the brake lights.
If they did yellow, it'd be hard to see the turn signals, and a yellow SUV is even rarer then a blue SUV.
If they did it in black, the windows would be hard to see.
If they did it in white, the headlights would be hard to see.
If they did it in brown, the body trim would be hard to see.

And Lego doesn't make green, orange, or purple bricks in bulk.

They could have done gray, but that'd be boring.

So blue what all they had left.

No offense, but I don't think it matters if it was neon green, candy red, or even hot pink. So what, the red and gray Honda Element Mega Blocks buildup wasn't a good choice of a color? I think it's creative.

Only thing is, can we see any...

A.) Mini Cooper LEGO Replica?
B.) Silvia S15 Spec-R Aero " "?
C.) McLaren F1 GTR " "?

You know, just for fun.

That is off the hook, it even shines. i wonder whether it is dense or hollow. I wonder how they put it onto the tyres w/o anything breakin off.

Holy crap, thats cool, I wonder if thats hollow or not, either way its still very heavy, wouldn't that lego fade in the sun, most of my childhood lego's have faded because of the sun.

I think its real. It's no render or Paint Shop. Well-done job by that team who came up with the pictures.

But as I said, I've never done anything extreme. About the most expensive LEGO kit I got was called "Central Precinct HQ," I believe. Basically, it was a nice police station. It came with a little criminal for my Lego men to beat up and put in jail. Ahh, my so-called youth...

Hey I not embarassed that I liked legos as a kid. Hell, most of the people in Industrial design played with them too. I'd probably say even people in industry us them to help there imagination or get ideas, even do mock ups.

The tyres are dirty. Maybe it already has a Robotnics Lego Engine system already fitted in it.

You just brought back a lot of memories with that post, John. I had that same police station! It was part of a whole Lego town that I built, it easily took up a fourth of the entire room. I had a ton of custom raised monorail track running around the outside of the city, with two stations on each end, a network of roads and intersections, a hospital, pizza parlor, Shell gas station, that police station, a race track, a large house that I built for my Lego self, a marina and a few other things. :D I really miss it bad! I'll have to see if I can dig up a few pictures.

Sounds like my old set-up - minus the race track. I used to love Lego's, and am not afraid to admit I still like them. If I had more time, I'd still be playing with them.

Lego's will always be cool!:D
