Virtual Reality Racing, or VRR as it is commonly known, is an organization focused around bringing racing entertainment in the form of A-Spec racing, where people race online competitively from all over the world, and B-Spec racing, where people register teams and AI drivers, paint cars for them, and are enabled the ability to be in a racing atmosphere without needing the constant resources to actually do what the A-Spec drivers do. All of this is VRR's way of providing the most important thing, an entertaining, competitive, and engaging atmosphere within GTPlanet that is both serious as well as relaxed and centrally organized. VRR has a B-Spec series for IndyCar, which is considered the premier open wheel B-Spec series currently available, as well as a smaller World Touring Car Championship more akin to what you would find in an A-Spec series on Gran Turismo. This one is far different. Using the 2015 Camping World Truck Series mod for NASCAR Racing 2003, I'm happy to present the VRR Coca-Cola Truck Series!

1) Driver names must be realistic first and last names that do not belong to a famous person, living or deceased, or an animated character, existing or discontinued.
2) Driver names cannot be play-on words of those mentioned above.
3) All drivers must have a formal nationality.
4) The gender of the GTPlanet member determines the gender of the AI driver.
1) For trucks with sponsorship, primary sponsors are to be located at minimum on the bonnet of the truck and the sides of the truck above the rear tires. Associate sponsors are to be located on the trunk lid, rear bumper, or quarter panel. These sponsors must appear on both sides of the truck where they are located.
2) Contingency sponsors are to be located on both sides of the truck behind the front tires. These include...
  • The series logo
  • Straight Talk (in reference to VRR IndyCar)
  • Dell
  • YouTube
  • Maule
  • Sunoco
  • Goodyear
  • Simpson
  • Virtual Reality Racing
  • GTPlanet
3) Trucks can only have one sponsor per location except for the trunk lid, which can have all sponsors not including contingencies on it.
4) The last name of the drivers must appear on the rear of the truck cockpit in the center.
5) Truck numbers must appear on the door, the roof, and the left rear bumper. Numbers on the headlight and taillight are not required but recommended.
6) As is with all other VRR B-Spec series, a primary sponsor is exclusive to that driver and their team to use. It cannot appear on a different truck and/or a different team.
7) Drivers cannot be sponsored by the truck manufacturer.
8) All schemes must be AUP friendly.
9) MLG schemes be discarded.
1) All AI will run on the same driver stats. Aggression will be set with a minimum of 0 and a max of 100 where as every other stat will have both minimum and maximum at 100.
2) All pit stats will be set with a minimum of 50 and a maximum of 100.
3) All races will be run at 100% AI strength. All serious crashes will be handed case by case.
4) All races outside of Daytona and road courses will have a distance of 200 miles. Daytona will run 250 miles and road courses will run 150 miles.
5) A maximum of 36 trucks will make the field for each race. That is also the entry limit.
1st: 25
2nd: 18
3rd: 15
4th: 12
5th: 10
6th: 8
7th: 6

Sweeeeet.

If you need, I already have the templates from the mod so I can just retrofit them with the proper series logo and have them put up for download.

I was about to PM you a question to see if you could make a series logo. I know you still have a VRR IndyCar scheme to finish up too so I'm not too worried right now.

  1. Isn't there already a Truck series, or did @Gerarghini cancel his?
  2. I really can't be bothered to follow all the livery rules, if I could just import my truck from his series which has actual NASCAR contigs, then I'll sign up, otherwise I'll pass

To my knowledge, the other one is currently defunct and has been for a while. And I would have to see the truck first. As long as it isn't insanely over the top, I won't be following the contingency rules by every dot and line.

Black Rose Racing will be entering with a three truck effort. #7 of Evangeline Porter currently confirmed with primary sponsor being Dairy Queen.

I think we all can see what's coming...
Cat Devil Racing-Toyota
#18: Sakura Ishibashi/JPN/DHL Express
#32 or #19: Camyron Jackson/USA/TBD
#91: Miharu Ishibashi/JPN/Sony Computer Entertainment

@Sakura @RACECAR this seem about right?
Since both you and Sakura are using the Ishibashi name, which is a first, first initial would have to precede the last name on the rear of the cab. That's my only heads up.

I'm actually finishing up on that so I can do it if you need.

Pretty much spot on 👍 Whenever I'm on your team, my number will always be 19.

This is rather unexpected.

Hmm... What to do, what to do... I need to think.

May i tag along with the #80 Chevy? Sponsor undecided, but likely Intel.

If I can just use the ones I posted with minimal changes (Like the driver name), then I'll sign up as the #24 Chevy with DuPont & Pepsi as my sponsors

Entering Cherokee Motorsports-Toyota.

Say, would you like a truck from me?

7) Drivers cannot be sponsored by the truck manufacturer.

@amaterasu so that mean trucks like this for example aren't allowed?

While I'm at it, is the overall layout of the sponsors on these about close to your requirements?

Quick wording question, can drivers be sponsored by other manufacturers? Like could I have a Ford Chevy Silverado if I wanted to?
