VERY soon. :scared:

Also, Seth, :scared: :( you didn't tell me any sooner? :( I'm a blithering idiot, I honestly am. I thought it was Toyota Team TMG. Sorry, that's obviously wrong. Does the TMG stand for anything? (Toyota Motor Group?)

Also, Birel, thanks. That's the maturity that could get you a seat in F1. F1 drivers have to be calm during interviews, no matter what happens...

Yeah... calm during interviews.... :D

TMG stands for Toyota Motorsports GmbH.

Division decision!

Division 1:

1. Johnny Penso
2. MrMelancholy15
3. Freshseth83
4. Sakery
5. cnd01
6. Jamie-Racing
7. Polarbear345
8. FlyinHawaiian77
9. damuemogirl
10. Agentorunge
11. NizmoDR3

Border line:

1. StormPacer17

4. T-n-T-2000
5. TDZDave

Division 2:

1. deergib *
2. livtiludye *
3. Prodigy-Z28
4. Holty *
5. Smoglessprune
6. gdwest1 *
7. LOST_PLAYER_1

Border line drivers and drivers with asterisks(*) are asked (politely, and at their leisure) to run laps at the following tracks, to establish at least a basic lap time range, so that we may be more certain of our calls between Division 1 and Division 2.

  • Circuito de Madrid reverse
  • Cape Ring Inside
  • Tsukuba (with MotoGP chicane)
  • Grand Valley East Reverse
  • Rome

Divisions 1 and 2 were decided upon democratically. Where a democratic decision could not be reached by the Team of Stewards, driver in question was put in the "Border line" group, until lap times are received.

MAFIA Motorsports both drivers in d1. Must have been a fluke.

As are both East... oops.

Is the other one Canadian?

Oh, shoot, you got me. I'm leaving Championship Honda and joining the East Coast Motorsports team instead.

Hahaha, yeah right.

well not exactly you, but another Canadian on the d1 list.

Now why would I team up with him? I've only raced with him for pretty much as long as I've had GT5. And it's not like he's fast or anything.

;)

Here's my times, fresh out of my new tune for the car. 276 bhp @ 1150 kg in the Honda Integra Type R '04

No one wants to join LLama Racing...

So I got to the 2:12's with the '86 at Suzuka during the race, what were everyone else best times?

2:12.8 was mine at Suzuka, but that was earlier today since I wasn't at the race on Saturday.

Oh crap looks like MAFIA Motorsports and East Coast Motorsports are rivals now

Skipping this East Coast Motorsports stuff... (I will not say anything)

StormPacer17 is in Division 1.

Damu is a troll.

cnd, every team is a rival.

I got some 2:12s before Saturday. The rain and the traffic really caught me out on Saturday, as far as lap times go.

 no matter how much I enjoyed that post... :scared: This thread, considering its history, might get a little more attention from the mods.

EDIT: that works

No it won't. Look see, ALL BETTER NOW!

You British have good humour... But, from time to time, you step out of GTP's line.

Otherwise, congrats on the Division 1 Storm.

I can't give direct details, but no one really underestimated you. It was a tie, but only because one of the members of the Team of Stewards hadn't raced with you enough to know. :sly: It's not important anymore.

Also: here's a track preview of the coming weekend's race.

I think d2 should race first and the race winners from there should be allowed to compete in the d1 race. If 1 person wins more than one race then the pole winner should go. Max of 3 people will go up and race the d1 race.

But, that would mess up the points; the D2 drivers would be running 6 races, so which ones would they *not* get points for? Or...?

Whichever they get more points for. Remember that they get 21 points for qualifying for d1. So even though they scored 34 for winning a race, they might have scored 12 points in a bad race. They get a shot to improve. I am just trying to be fair to the d2 drivers. They score 35 points because they finished decent in d1. This way there is not such a big gap between divisions in points. This also encourages people in d2 to race hard. So that way they won't be afraid to win races which might put them in d1 where they would be less competitive. Just an idea. Not really practical, but it might work.

Made the cut!

I'm not good at those press releases. But I'll try to make mine short.

Were here at the official press conference of the ITCC where they just announced which teams will make it in each division. Joining me right now is the owner of the orange S2000. He has yet to announce his team name. Any hints on what team name you will be running under? (Russian Accent) Yes, team name is Sofa

 The guys in the Rolex series will understand. You can make that my official team name Mel.

Well, you need it when you follow England. Especially yesterday. After such a long battle, to lose it right at the end, heartbreaking. My dad won't forgive me for calling it perfectly either. Sorry for jinxing you, but now you have to live with it, even through all those tears after coming oh so very close. Sorry, but you're stuck in the Twenty20 99-club Alex Hales (only 6 have reached 100 thus far in internationals).

 what? Is this UEFA or is this GT Academy? Or...?
