Calling me out is basically making fun of me. Or calling me a liar. Neither of which is right nor is it cool.

We are trying to tell you to wait until you have legitimate proof that the AWD cars are way faster.

I get made fun of because I voice my opinion about cars going 1, now 2 seconds faster? I get made fun of because people didn't go @Suzuka when they were suppose to? HAH! I'll just laugh. First it was the TVR! "Seth's too fast... TVR blah blah" then it was the Scirocco "Overpowered (@260hp 1169kg) VW..." then it was "GT86 is bad at those regs..." But when I say there shouldn't be 4wds with specs like FWDs I'm complaining? Cry a river. I've spec'd cars for other series before so I know. Don't hate my message about cars being equal, cus I was at the front in whatever I ran. So if it's ME saying 4wds are too fast at a certain spec, you should be listening. Instead the lot of you think I'm trying to get some leg up? Get real, guys.

I respect your experience in speccing cars; however, you leave out tire wear as a limiting factor. If this was a series where pit stops and tire wear weren't a key factor then I would have serious issues with the 4WD cars. Tire wear cuts the FWD and 4WD cars down to size. Even though it might be possible to tune the FWD to get RWD tire wear, it can't be easy. The only way I have been able to save tires is to back off of my pace which is already mid-pack at best this week. I guess I just have a crappy tune for this track.

its more the fact that its NOT PRACTICAL to run these lap times with these setups, TIRES go off too quick, a stetup that lasts in the car slows it down to 1.29s and if i were you, id be more worried about other cars in the series, particular the ones that arent commenting on anything on this subject,

Your point would be worth more weight if we had 15 lap races. Softs will last at least 6 laps and give times within a second of your best. That's half way through the race. If you tune your car for a glory lap that's on you. Even FWDs can make softs last that long and still be consistent.

I'm falling to 1:31s actually, by the fourth lap.

All I can suggest is reduce camber or use mediums for the 1st stint. You won't lose much time if there are battles ahead of you.

I can get 2 laps in the 1.29s, 2 laps in the 1.30s, and 2 laps in the 1.31s if I run 6 laps on softs. I was told last night by either tnt or norm that they were getting 9-10 laps on softs with lap times still in the high 1.30s-low 1.31s. I can run 5 laps in the mid 1.30s if I drive conservatively. Am I missing something on the setup?

I base my strategy off of other things. I also have already lowered the camber. I think my camber should work.

ok you win, but having you known this information already before knowing what was available in the car listings, just shows.... im not saying anymore, other then it was your choice to run a RWD car, youve made your bed now lay in it, Mrm has already ended this "complaint/ arguement" about 7 pages ago, its entirely your choice to race, no ones forcing you to turn up,

My entire point for this is to wait:

If any changes to specs are necessary, I promise you, they won't happen before conclusive testing in at least two rounds. The Evo was there at Suzuka, there's one. If the specs need to be changed on any car, I'll verify it with my own eyes first, and will not take "complaints."

The fact is, Seth, that if I give into you, and your "ideas," this will happen with everyone else. Before you know it, it'll be the Honda guys complaining about the 86GT, and the Mazda guys complaining about the Subaru... But, if I say that I'll only accept PMs about specs, requesting an investigation into the specs, maybe people will be a little less likely to start arbitrarily calling out cars, that seem fast.

Argh, worried I wont be able to make Race night 1, sis's birthday meal etc, can't really take a miss on it :(. I seem to be annoyingly busy recently, make have to take a miss.

I hate to have to say this, but I believe that high 1:28s is posible. I've been tuning in the ITCC lounge for about the last 1 1/2 hours and this is what I have got for lap times so far.
Was doing very low 1:30.1's to hi 1:29.9's for about the last hour. Did a couple of adjustments.

lap 1- 1:29.536
Lap 2- 1:30.196 (messed up entry to chicane, late breaking :) )
Lap 3- 1:29.406 (getting closer)

In the same car as Seth... I approve of that. :)

Also, I'll put up the rest of the countdown timers in the OP. :) Well, maybe the second post.

Might have to sit out this weekend. We had a strong storm come through and I'm pretty sure it fried my tv. The colors are all messed up and it wont read any signals from my ps3 or cable box. I would have to wait till next week before I could buy a new one.

I read that. I think you know what you're planning on for the next one. My family has a surge protector, it's quite helpful. :) I'll add you to the list of people who legitimately can't make it.

People who can't make it:

FRAG-ME-CG
FlyinHawaiian77
Polarbear345
(to be continued)

Yeah, all those times passing it up in the store finally caught up to me. I've been begging for an upgrade. Next one has to be at least bigger than the 47" lcd I have now. Anyone know where to get good deals? I got this last one at tiger direct.

Ohh, and I wanted to say that I was able to make it into the 1:29 club. :)

Oh, the poor rotten luck. :( Not what I wanted to hear, man.

That is terrible my friend. I play on a Standard Definition dinosaur that weighs like 7 tons. I am hoping it will tear up so that I can get a better one.

I have a slightly better TV. I have the HD TV from like 2006, that happens to have a purple spot in the middle, and happens to be from "age" on the TV. The worst bit, is that I only use that TV for Rolex series races, F1 races, and racing simulators... I like cars. :dopey:

Same here. If I can't see the race when it airs, I DVR it on the 37'' LCD in the family room and watch it when my family is away. Most of the time my dad will watch F1 and Grand-Am with me. We also like catching the BTCC when SPEED channel airs it.

Exactly what I do! My family tv is a 46 incher though.

I know. Will you make the Rolex SCS race?

bahahahaha, my gaming t.v. is 60in, lol, anything bigger wouldnt work lol,

just a question, that countdown timer, shouldnt it be 1 day, 16 hrs, 19 mins??

Most likely I won't make the start, my ETA is about 7:00-7:30 if all goes perfect (which it never does...) so I'm expecting to be home at 8. Which will actually make me miss the whole thing... Darnet!

That is a wash. Video it and post it to the Youtube if you get there halfway.
