i couldnt find a place to post my wallpaper so i figured i'de start one for everyone.

Are you joking? It's the cheapest Compact Car there is, and also one of the best.
 
yeah you must not know what your talkin about on this one man. cause these things are doint 0-60 in 5.4 secs and have a top speed of 150 bone stock. and if your comparing them to a god damn skyline or something like that then thats retarted cause this thing only costs 20 grand. so im gunna have to disagree with you.

I don't guess I'm really putting the car down or am I comparing it to a Skyline, it's just that I hate the looks. I always see them with a bumper hangin off and a trash bag over the window and I just plain don't like their looks. That's awesome they can go 0-60 in 5.4 sec. but that doesn't mean I like it. It's so ugly and when I see it I associate it with the neon and wannabes that drive them.

I'm not too crazy about the looks of the new Neons either, but it is what it is. None the less, the SRT-4 is a lil' Sh**-Kicker!!
 
yeah thats my work. and i guess i dont like how high it sits, the hood, or the huge ricy spoiler. but dont knock neon divers man cause i recently owned one and i have about 100 friends who own and drive neons. neons are actually one of the most powerfull cars in their class. personally i have wasted many caviliars, civics, grand prix's, and even a few v8's so dont knock em.

That's my issue with Neons. You rarely see a 'classy' Neon, if there is such a thing. They've entered the world with a bad name, and I don't think there is any hope for them. Much like the rotary engine. Before the RX-7 came along, the rotary engine was a PIECE. But Mazda's rotary is actually quite nice with very few unique problems - unfortunately no one knows this because of the poor reputation that has been built before they even had a chance to make it something good.
 
The Neon was introduced as a "cute" car & it sold like crazy. Civics used to be econoboxes, look at them now. :rolleyes:
Also, Rx-7s have always been popular in SCCA races. It's all about what you like & what you want to do with it.

Same here, I don't care how good it can perform, its a Dodge...NEON. The only people that drive them are rice boys and college girls.
 
We rented a bog standard Dodge Neon in florida a few years back. As the only American car i've been in on American soil, i thought it was pretty good. And personally i think that those figures cancel out the few minor niggles in the bodywork

WHat is the definition of rice. A car made in Japan or china. Basically a import. So people feal rice is what people do to cars. Being stupid pointless metal wing that "adds" downforce to a front wheel drive car. Or your way of modding the car is everything LED at Pep boys. Or just plain out thinking you car is fast when it is not.
Well if im a riceboy then i gladly invite anyone to take a stab at my STI or the srt4. it wont be the subaru that beats your ass.

Apparently you don't know what rice is. Rice is when people mod cars senselessly only to make them look fast; they do no modifications to the engine and think that the huge JGTC wing alone can make a car fast. Rice is not a Japenese car.

I was stating that a lot of (not all) Dodge Neon owners in their teens to mid-20s put bodykits on their cars that are meant for a whole different weight, drive, etc. and slap stickers on their car that are from fast cars and put huge metal wings that are completely the wrong size, shape, weight, everything. And I'm sorry if I offended you in anyway.

So....lets get back on topic. :)
 
hey i jusy back my neon up until the day i die. its not one bit rice but yes i agree, putting a just a body kit on a car is dumb to me. gotta put some parts on the car to back that image up. But you have to loo from there shoes. To them they want a car that is flashy and for it to turn heads. And for people to say damn man that is nice. They dont care how fast it goes or how it performs. I know i have a few friends like that. But i have talked them into getting a CAI atleast. But hey rice is how ever you want to put it.
To me rice is the big huge muffler on a stock car. Serves no purpose than to make the car sound like but. If your gonna ut a muffler on your honda put a header high flow cat and larger exhuast piping to help the muffler out. 400 bucks can get ya a decent exhaust system these days. not the best but ok. Better than just having some ricey pep boys muffler making high pitched fart noises. So as i rest my case with the ricey neon not all neons are rice. I know alot of neons out there that run low 10's and a few that run mid 8's in the quarter. One naturally asperated running 10's. And just because someone sticks decals on a neon and a huge wing or body kit doesnt make the car rice. It makes the owner a moron who shouldnt own a car. :)
 
Yeah, I understand. And...I don't mean to sound rude, but try and use proper grammar here, it took me a minute to fully understand what You were saying with no capital letters. :lol: No offense, its just weird seeing all lowercase letters.
 
how is not using capital letters proper grammer. Tha is proper punctuation if im not mistaken. Sorry but if i forget to hold the shift down long enough. the keyboard cant keep up with my hands.:lol:
 
no replies 4 ages...just made a new wallaper im using at moment, it has my merc chop on it, but its only good with only a few icons, plain and no filters but bold and effective

You are an idiot raptor how the hell are u going to campare a great 20,000 car to a 50,000 dollar semi-supercar. You have no idea what u are talking about. You might have seen it once in yellow (it isnt as good looking in yellow because its a gay color) and decited u didnt like it dont go around saying stuff u have no idea what ur talking about dumbass. Both me and my girl got the stage three kits for it factory so were pushing 360 pr now. Lowerd black black rims crome lips it is clean, and u are stupid.
