This is one heck of a deal IMHO. I mean, Michael did get a special FXX for his role with Ferrari, but this is gonna top all of them! A special chassis is made for L. Hamilton according to Wikipedia:

That isn't a special chassis made for Hamilton, it's the prototype, XP1 LM, that will be given to him.

Not really. It'll be more or less, the same thing. Hamilton's F1 LM (should he get it) will be just like the others except for XP1's little mark just like Schumacher's FXX is just like every other one except for being black.

Would it mean something to you? Then why wouldn’t it mean anything to him? I’m sure he is just as passionate about cars as anyone else. Ferrari and McLaren are completely different teams. Just because Ferrari gave Michael Schumacher an FXX after 7 World Championships, it doesn't mean that McLaren have to do exactly the same. I don't see why it has to be such a big deal.

In his case, he's technically right. XP1 was pretty much built from a shell destined to be a regular F1.

Ah, I see. But I don't get this, why is the XP1 different compared to the other LM's? I know its a prototype, but the Wikipedia article is confusing me....... So its a prototype chassis of a LM destined to go into a normal F1, but now to be built into a LM. Or is it the other way around? I'm very confused here......

Yeah, there are a lot of cool videos of Michael in his or someone else's FXX. I wonder what his car looks like if he got the Evoluzione package installed.
