All broken, all fun.The early Russian planes seem quite good, though. The I-153 Chaika, the I-16 and the LaGG 3 are all at least decent.
What are you referring to? The side intake? The side opening canopy?Yeah, but the asymmetric design of most German planes drives me up the walls.. Oh well..
Yesterday, I was chasing one on my A26 Invader bomber and I almost got him, but was shot down by another Shinden. It was designed as a bomber interceptor. Use it for it's purpose and you have no issues.
Also BNZ.
I already have both American and Japanese campaign since Dec 2012.Bought the Japanese campaign with discount (350 rub ~9$) and got the premium A6M5 Ko. Real bargain. Tier 4 fighter anyone?

Also, got the Tiger I. It's a real kick-ass. First fight on this and I had 7 kills and 0 deaths. Now I know why playing on 3rd tier Soviet tanks in RB is such a pain.

The Snails should fix the balance somehow.

That is why RB and SB is so good. You don't have to care about armour as the ability to not get shot is a lot higher.Ok, bit more grinding with the Yankees so I can get the B-24.. I'm sorely tempted to get that premium Spitfire for the Brits just because of the bonus stats.. But the plane is bit of a paper tiger. Fast? Yes. Decently armed? Yes. Agile? Somewhat. Durable? Hell no..![]()
Since when was the Spitfire "somewhat" agile... :/Ok, bit more grinding with the Yankees so I can get the B-24.. Hmmmm... RB right? Which planes specifically? And I've given up hope for the Russians. Simply can't win with them..
But then, mouse-aim is not meant for extreme flying. Keyboard is better...The only mouse related issue I've noticed is some wobbling when pushing the plane to its limits, but that's about it.
Hmmmm... RB right? Which planes specifically?
Well, I use combination of both (elevators, for example, are mapped to my fourth and fifth mouse button)... Still, I sometimes have some trouble with my nose wobbling all over the place. Pulling out of a dive can cause my instructor to struggle a lot, which seems to cause the wobbling. But then, mouse-aim is not meant for extreme flying. Keyboard is better...![]()
I don't really like the Russian planes, either. Their nose-mounted cannons are great in arcade, but I'm really concerned with the lack of ammo in RB.All of them. Can't run, can't turn, lack punch.
Custom skins are invisible to other players. The in-game decals, however, are visible.Want to know that grins my gears? MLP-themed skins for planes.Whenever I see one, I will do my best to do a kamikaze strike against it.
RB is not meant to shoot from 700 meters at every opportunity.I don't really like the Russian planes, either. Their nose-mounted cannons are great in arcade, but I'm really concerned with the lack of ammo in RB.
True and well known.RB is not meant to shoot from 700 meters at every opportunity.
In RB, you must get closer to the target and shoot only when you're sure you'll hit him.
The Yaks are pretty fast and agile, but their ammo capacity is small, not to be wasted. The 9T also has a kick-ass 37mm cannon that easily crushes everyone who gets hit with it, but you only have 30 rounds. Make good use of it.![]()
