Meh... There's really no ncrease of performance or value in that. It'll be a wasted tank because the standard isn't all that good.

If you have the 10.5 tiger, I'd use the Eagles to finish the grind for all the mods, but that's just my pick of what I'd do right now...

I think the 76mm m4a3 would be a nice buy (not sure if it's a premium tank though...)

I think the 76mm M4A3 is the first Tier 4 medium tank for the U.S. I know their is a 76mm M4A2 that's a Russian Premium but that's it.

I've never had any issues with controls defaulting. It is best to wipe the entire control mapping out and start fresh. That way there's no conflicting controls or it trying to revert anything.

Edit: Either I've forgotten how bad the unmodded .30cals are, or then there's a glitch in the game, as they jam after 9 rounds fired.. :ouch:

It can't be bought for gold, only as a separate pack.

Now I'm thinking about the Japanese Focke-Wulf. Although I already have a tier 4 A6M5 Ko, the FW-190A-5 could be useful, too.
Japanese fighters are agile, but slow. So a Japanese team in RB needs someone fast who could chase Mustangs and Lavkas. A couple of Focke-Wulfes in a Japanese team can ensure success.
 
Grind grind grind.. I can't wait to get over the planes that have puny .30cals.. takes forever or lucky hit to kill anything with these peashooters.
 
Clouds are useless as well. One match over Berlin alt. history and I was tucked in the clouds, couldn't see anything but heard a plane close by. No idea where it exactly was, and then all of a sudden a Yak-9 pops up in view behind me at .4km. Nothing I could do at that point. Being in the F4U-1d, there was no way I was going to outmaneuver a Yak.

That is what the Ki84 is for. :D

The A7M is coming as a premium in the next patch if you want to wait.
 
IMHO, Japanese planes above tier III aren't worth of the trouble. They don't turn, climb, accelerate nor are they very fast. Ki-43-III is the pinnacle of Japanese planes, just saying.. Agile, packs a punch and with tactical mind set, it's a real monster.

Try saying that when you have played the Japanese vs Americans on the China map event. The Ki84 completely owns the P51etc.
 
Russians can't even WEP above 3000, or at least some of them can't. Then there's the Yak that has no WEP. :lol:

I won't say there's a bias towards any particular nation, but it being a game where the mechanical issues aren't present, it definitely makes particular nations look stronger than they should be. The BR needs to be adjusted as well. Some planes are too low, some planes are too high. I did see a suggestion on the official forums that BR should be dynamic with plane upgrade progress, but that would just make things convoluted since many players are insanely good regardless of how terrible a plane is without it's upgrades. I was struggling with the F4U-1d before I got the fuselage upgrade and the 12mm belts.
 
Slowly but certainly getting the controls set up in the way I like it. Controller is still a pain to use, but I'm getting there.. Especially now that I've set the button layout close to Ace Combat's one :D
 
Mhm, now, if I only could get into the proper fighters bit faster.. I guess I have to use some of those bonuses I've collected so far.

Never thought I would manage to shoot down an FW-190 with the 37mm cannon on the P-63A-10 from .8km away. :lol:

Flying my D3A1 the other day, went in for low a bombing run. Second or third bomb happened to hit and destroy an enemy fighter. :lol: Had just been wondering if I could get someone with bombs that day.
