Yep it was quite funny to me to. I couldn't believe that at the time either.

They were all over ebay and some amazon too.

What they would do was.

Put it up on ebay.
When someone poor sucker buys it. They would send them a friend request then send the car.

And believe it or not people would buy them. Reason i had heard about it was from a friend that got suckered into buying one. I told him I would have just sent him one if he wanted it.

He bought one on ebay if i remember correctly for about 50-100 bucks. I felt bad for him.


Honestly by the way i wouldn't be surprised if people are doing the same thing with these cars.

Im waiting until after the patch to find out what ACTUALLY happens. Though this speculation is fun to read.

Couldnt you just save the game file(w car) to usb.
Then load your ps3 game file with no car on it.

Then...

Wait to see what happens and if they (Sony/PD) block people who own the car then obviously save over your game file.

If nothing happens then people keep the car.

I dont know much about computer programming (little) but I think the hacker(s) would be at fault. Not owners of the car because how would you be warned if you didnt follow GTP?

If someone already stated this, apology in advance. So many threads about these now.

I dont get why people are so mad! People have ability to kick in rooms so shouldnt affect races unless you allow it to.

I think its no different than having glitched wheels or a borrow glitched car or this 2j ticket glitch or pick a glitch.

Someone pulled up my driveway in a Jeep and 4 guys got out.
