The FGT seems much more like I remember it in GT4. An amazing boost of power at the highest RPMs. Pre2.0 it seemed less powerful.

The FGT is amazing! The power at redline, sure... But then try driving it at the lowest RPMs. Even hardly off idle it's as fast as any road car!

I thought the engine noise on the FGT sounded so much nicer this morning with 2.0.

I'm sure it used to be whiny before. It sounded powerful, felt powerful and handled much better than I remember. And I thought looked better too.

I was playing the new Seasonal Event for FTGs. Felt much better.

I never used to like the FTG compared to the Ferrari F1s before Spec 2.0. FTG was the first car I tried to race in 2.0. Managed to sneak in two races before I went to work.

Hope all the other cars feel "better" with 2.0 too!

Can't wait for the DLC. Spa! Can't wait.

I had a feeling they would add an FGT event in the Seasonals. I think they added it at this time to showcase the new handling models. Driving this sucker before was pretty tough. I did find that the FGT event in A-Spec to be quite stressful (never won a race by more than a couple second lead) before this change. Awesome!

Could someone post a photo of the FGT interior if there is one? i'm waiting for the download to finish and its farcing around and i cant wait :D

The FGT feels faster but I am not sure if it is, maybe I need to adjust my tune but I was running low 1.27's around nurburg GPF last season in the FGTC and after the update best lap is 1.27.091. Feels like you can put the power down earlier now? Strange!

Probably more effective downforce meaning power can be applied earlier but less speed on the straights?

Have to give credit to the interior view too for the FGT. Maybe not a premium, but definitely one of the best standards.

That would make sense to why it feels quicker but isnt over a lap. It will come out and our series is the best for unravelling the mysteries of the FGT :)

👍 to the interior on the FGT!

I haven't checked in-game yet, but noticed on g-t.com that the FGT seasonal allows "tuning up to 950PP". Seems like the max before was about 905PP wasn't it? Can you really get it up to 950 now? If so then the FGT has gotten much much much quicker...

Wonder if the X2011 will break 1000PP...

It feels like it has more understeer now. I've stated before in another thread too.

Yes, I had my FGT's all tuned up nicely for the a spec series and the understeer since 2.0 has increased. Fiddling with the re-tune now, I had TCS at 3, turned it down to 1, ride height -5/0 seemed to help. The power increase could have an effect here too as I found I was carrying more speed into the corners (I'm a late braker) so changed my style to slow in fast out more like a road car.
