Viper. It seems to be the most practical car out of the three. It would probably be the best on the street, still really fast, and good looking too.

The other two would be alright, but they'd probably be better off on the track more than the road.

Only one of these is a really properly a supercar. So not really the best three options for the poll.

This poll involves one hypercar, one road legal track car, and one hopped up sports car. Maybe it would have been a good idea to tell people that you planned to divide this poll up into subdivisions and what those subdivisions would be.

Not exactly the best 2 alternatives to place against an F1 in the supercars poll.

The F1 is beautiful and astounding, but also absurdly expensive, extremely rare, and primarily owned either as investments or vanity items by people who never actually drive them. The Radical is useless beyond the track. Viper it is.

@Zenith Or maybe he should have split the cars into poll groups using a random number generator...

I'll do that for the other cars, it's a bit late to do so now.

Hypercar, track car, performance sports car....

Although I have an idea I could set up. It would be a car tournament each week. We could nominate 24 cars or so and randomly set them up in a tournament format. Then we could have a vote on each matchup. There would be semi-finals, finals, etc.

That'd be too complex. Randomly putting vehicles against each other is the easiest way to get things done.

Based on all the things you wanted factored in on nominating a car for this poll, the F1 is the one that ticks multiple categories whilst the other 2 are street-legal track machines.

Sort of like what a certain Jalopy-obsessed website does from time to time, I like the idea!!!

As for the poll, even though I agree all three cars are absurdely random and I'd pick all three, I'd go for the Radical. Shouldn't be as expensive to mantain as the F1 and is more batcrap insane than the Viper.

It's a hard choice between the Viper and Radical. The McLaren is a really nice car, but I don't know if paying equal attention to road going practicality and track performance is better than focusing on one and giving you only what you need for the other. That goes double when it costs you multiple times would it would to get specialized cars.

You could enjoy all three on the road, but I wouldn't care about using them for any kind of practical purpose because that would amount to unnecessary risk and mileage. They would all be fun on the track. The Radical is hands down the performance master, the McLaren would be no slouch in a straight line, and the Viper would strike a nice balance between the two. If anything unexpected happened on the track the McLaren would be the biggest headache, part of it down to being well engineered and using the best materials available and part of it down to being a rare limited production vehicle. I wouldn't mind paying for the former, but I don't see much benefit to the latter.

I suppose if this is a contest that's supposed to factor in everything you could argue against the Radical for having no trunk and no roof. At the same time that's a plus because it makes the car hardcore and you can just go buy a fleet of luxury cars along with the Radical instead of buying the McLaren and you might end up with a better track experience and better road experience. In an emergency, the Viper has a trunk and a roof, so it can do everything a Camry can do on paper. It's hard to pick one but the Viper might best fit what the competition is looking for. Or maybe I'm Viper biased.

The F1 was made to be the best drivers car ever, I've never driven one (durr) but from the specs and the way it was built (not too mention the glorious engine) I'd say it achieved that.

Not only that but from what I've picked up over the years it's supposed to be pretty useable and practical as well, despite not having much in the way of driver aids.

If that doesn't fit the bill for best car in the world, I don't know how an track car (albeit a very well engineered and silly fast one) or a track version of a fast and well engineered (but still archaic) American super sports car could be somehow more fitting.
