Anyone ever read the horrifying Viper story? Some guy sent Hennessey his car along with a crap load of money. Kept checking on it and was told it was coming along. Ended up taking forever and Hennessey kept asking for more money to get it finished. Finally the customer got fed up and sent one of his friends to the shop to check on the car. It was sitting in the corner, on blocks and missing parts. No work had been done. Hennessey was literally using it as a parts car!

No idea how that man is still in business.

Edit: didn't realize the first link eunos posted was this story. :D

Wow. I went from loving to hating Hennessy in about 30 minutes.

That Cadillac looks awesome, but I still like the original look a lot more. I like the carbon fiber side skirts and rear diffusers, but other than that it just takes away from the look of the car. As far as performance, I'm not sure why, but to me this is one of those cars that's best left the way it was coming out of the factory.

Like if the CTS-V was desperate in need of more power...yeah...

Tuner car. Meh.

This car in GT5?

So you buy the car for a few hundred grand, it comes a year late, It breaks after a few outings, and when you try to replace your broken parts for even better and more expensive racing parts, secretly stock parts are put on instead. Meanwhile The wheels and the front bumper are taken off the car without permission and sold.

At least you would have to give PD credit for being realistic.

Lol I feel same as you. Looks like they spend all there time buying bodykits to trick people into assuming what's on the inside is good as well

Hennessey is awful. (The shop and the liquor)

I really dislike John Hennessy and Hennessy Performance, after I did some researching and what this terrible man/owner of this company done to others.

Pitiful.

Yeah. He really has one of the worst reputations in motorsports. Thing is, he's got that Texas charisma and can still concinve the ultra-rich types who don't care about throwing another 200 grand at their Dodge Viper that he's not wasting their money and that he'll eventually return them a +1000bhp street monster and be the envy of all the poontang at the country club. The kind of client who already has 5 cars at home anyways. A great salesman, he is.
